  • Hi All,

I rejoined last week, 1st weigh in tonight, it's taken a few days to get my head round the new system so not expecting a big loss but every little bit off is going in the right direction, having the calculator app on my phone has helped when i'm out, I usually have my phone on me especially when shopping so I can check which products are the lowest points. I love being able to eat fruit for free, bowl of strawberries with a little ww thick cream after tea and i've only used a couple of points is great it doesn't feel like dieting or denying yourself at all, i guess the proof will be in the the proverbial pudding at tonights WI. wish me luck.

    Hi all,

I have been doing weight watchers online since 30th Jan and have lost over 2 stone (got a fair bit to lose and am currently on 33 points per day). Am chuffed to bits and am finding that I get on really well with the new PP system.

I try not to use my 49 extra weekly points as I try to swap out any extra points with activity ones during the week (keeps me motivated to keep exercising :)). Have also set myself a challenge of walking up Ben Nevis (highest mountain in the UK) for charity in September, yikes!

Hi! Have just joined weightwatchers online so am looking around for help and support!
Weight was gained over the last 6 months as I have been on antidepressants. But consultant has agreed to let me reduce the dose so fingers crossed! 40th birthday party in 1 months time and would love to have lost half a stone by then! Am exercising 3 times a week at the gym or swim or run. Guess I have to retrain myself that a cup of tea doesn't need a biscuit ;-) x

    Hello All,

Would you mind if I join this thread? I joined WW 3 weeks ago and have really enjoyed the ProPoints plan. I lost 3lb my first week, 2lb my second week and 4lb last night :j I have now reached my 5% and I'm on my way to 10%. I still have about 2 stone to lose, but I have made a good start. I really enjoy having the 49 points weekly allowance and I have found that I have not been using them through the week where my days are stuctured but I then have them for the weekends where we can be alot more 'off the cuff'.

I was a little disapointed with last weeks weight loss as I had spent most of the week in the gym but it has caught up with me this week so that cheered me up. :) I am doing a local 10km race in June so have been training hard of late, really started to enjoy it again and I have started getting twitchy if I haven't been the gym or for a run. I have made sure that I haven't touched any of my activity points at all so they are points in the bank, well in my head anyway!

This week and next is going to be a challenge, I have friends visiting this week and a couple of nights/meals out planned. I am saving the whole of my 49 points for a big blow out (haven't seen these friends in a while) and the rest of the time I am hoping sensible choices and driving instead of drinking will see me right. Next week we are away for a week camping with the kids. I know this will involve lots of ice lollies, fish & chips and other 'goodies'. I am combating this by drawing up a meal plan for whilst we are away, this should not only keep the cost down but also keep us on track(ish). We always have a load of fruit with us wherever we go anyway (2 x DS are fruit monsters) so will use that to snack on. I have programmed in fish & chips on one night but have told my DH we are sharing one portion (he is also doing WW, 9lb off is 3 weeks too), so that way I won't feel like I have missed out.

Anyway, what I was on here to ask was, does anyone have any good ideas for tasty recipies for one pot that I would be able to cook on a camping stove? I have got as far as a chilli but drawing a blank after that?

Sorry for the dreadfully long post, congratulations on all your weight losses to date and here is hoping for much much more! Thanks

    Just little old me!
  • 2.5lb lost last night! Pleased after last week's disappointment so that's 11lb in 4 weeks. Got my 5% award too! I know it will start to tail off to smaller amounts shortly but I'd love to lose a stone in six weeks so that's my aim. Still a long long way yto go but I do already feel better for it, haven't gone down a size but clothes tht were getting way too tight now feel comfortable again!

This week my only big day out is Sunday where I'm off to my sister's for my nephew's first birthday party so I'm trying to save most of my 49 points for then. hope everyone else is feeling positive too...:T

cashback from Quidco means 3 months of WW can be for free - I posted a thread on grabbit but thought there might be some lapsed WW members who fancied 3 months for free to get them back on track ( I certainly need it - I'm going to start tracking on Monday):o

Balance 1st November '09 = mortgage paid off with £1903 left over. Title deeds are now ours.
  • I've just signed up on the Quidco deal. 2 stone to lose for me......

I'm currently inputting some of my staple recipes into the recipe builder so the points are all worked out for me, and I've also got the latest WW magazine for a bit of added inspiration.

Im looking to find a new meeting as the leader of my current meeting seems to be completely unsupportive of "underachievers" like myself.Obviously Im trying to change that but its not been easy.I cancelled my monthly pass a few months ago and am loking into getting back.

My next nearest meeting advertises on the ww site for Thursday evenings at 18:15 and 19:00 with an announcement below that reads "Express Weigh Only Mtg Thursday 6 6 45pm Thu 06:15 pm is a Weigh Only Meeting "

Does that mean both of these are weigh only or is it one is weigh only and one is a full meeting?I cant find any contacts for the venue leader?

Hi all - have just signed up for WW Online. Haven't been a member for about 25 years(!) so all very new:).

Today has been about gettting my head around the plan (or trying) and realising a lot of the habits I've got into recently will HAVE to go. Need to lose a couple of stone really - but just to get back into last year's clothes comfortably is my first goal.
Onward and upward - with the odd step to the side
