    Thats what I thought!

Be good to wear them on week 1 and not on week 2, what a huge weight loss that would be....oh dear, I'd only be fooling myself though! haha!

  • Ive been doing pro points since the week before christmas.I love it, Ive lost 9lb which I think is very good considering your weight loss slows down and ive been going ww for over a year now.
I love the fact that fruit is now a free food, as are most vegtables. If I am peckish I will snack on a bannana when before I would have had a good think before using 1.5 points on a bannana.I nearly always acheive a minimum of 5 a day.
I also love, love, love having the bank of 49 points to spend as I like, last week I went out for tea with friends and spent the whole 49 in one sitting and still lost weight.
And I think the principle of the new diet is better too, advocating a diet rich in protein and fibre is great.Everyone is doing really well at my club.
  • Hi :wave::wave::wave:

    Mind if I join you

I have just joined WW and weight 13.13:eek::eek:

I was a member before on the points system but hated it - I like the idea of 49 extra points a week on the pro points sytem... that's a day and a halfs worth of points (I'm on 29 a day).
It seemded so hard before to make any meaningful savings on 21 points a day so I'm looking forward to getting going.
I must admit at weigh in on Tuesday I was wearing jeans and have pre menstrual boobs ready to explode.
I'm looking forward to sharing my journey with you

  • i think there is no single best way to lose weight.
However having a sensible and healthy diet and combined with an active lifestyle, is a sure fire way to maintain or lose weight at a healthy rate over a sustained period of time.:p
  • Hi, I was thinking of re joining weight watchers again.
I was just wondering if anyone knows if you still get a free shopping guide with the monthly pass. It puts me off having to buy everything again now I've spent so much money on books etc for the old points system!!
Also is it fairly easy to convert old weight watchers recipe books to the new pro points? If I get a monthly pass I will have e source.
I like the idea of having the weekly points to use whenever so I'd like to try the new plan.
Thanks to everyone who posts the comps :A

    Hi tazamunchkin,
There is no freebie with the monthly pass, if you buy MP in class the 1st one is only £12.95 then £19.99 thereafter.
The Discovery Plan is now nul and void although there are conversions for a few of the later recipe books on that plan. You should be able to put the recipes into e-source and the conversion of points will be there.
I love the Pro-points plan and the weekly points are a god send!
    Good luck

    Checking in :)

been at it for a week with propoints, want to loose a stone before going for consultation for breast reduction. Currently a sizee 12 on top, 8-10 on bottom. Need to drop down a bit more before surgery

Using propoints, so far finding them really good, actually hard to meet the 29 a day!! Lots of choice :)

Hey everyone :D. Im just coming to the end of my second week of WWs :D. lost 2.5lb the first week. FInding it really hard to point the days. I did WWs about 2 or 3 years ago and was good then but this time I seem rubbish! Really need to kick myself up the bum!

I am also struggling as I am on a lactose free diet at the minute. My go to when I was cravign somethign sweetw as always WWs ice cream pot with a merginue nest and some strawberries if we had them in. Or strawberries and low fat greek yogurt. However I can not have these anymore :( Anyone have any sweet treat tips?

I am making it a target to make zero point soup each week to have for lunch with some bread (cant live without bread!). Going to make some broccoli soup tomorrow or thurs depending on time.

I think Im also struggling with the 49 weekly points allowance as (having been a member of the old plan) it makes me think that I dont need to point because I have 49 'bonus' points that are a backup for when I go over my daily points. I KNOW its the wrong mindframe so really really need to fix that!
