Hi Mark that is a huge amount to lose in 3 weeks.
You should be losing up to 2lb a week, although they do allow for higher lb's of loss in the first few weeks as your body gets used to the new eating plan, it may just be that. It should even out in the next week or so. Are you eating all your daily PP allowance?

No ... not really ... my wife is also on the same thing - but she is losing very little - I am not really measuring the points as such - she is - just cut out foods such as takeaways etc - also trying to stick to their 0-1 points for snacks -

Are you and your wife on the same PP allowance? Might be worth tracking your points to see if you using all your allowance as that may be the reason you are losing more - Anything over a 2lb weightloss and you start to loose muscle mass.

I agree Mark, though the first stone of weight loss is all linked in to your glycogen pool, that's why the first few pounds are relatively easy, and men do seem to be able to shed weight quicker than women.

It sounds like you need to nick some of the food from your wife's plate if she's not losing much! OR check in the linen cupboard for a secret stash of choccies, hehe!

Just popped on to report that after the third week of free WW I lost another 2lbs, so total is now 8.5lbs off.

Well done, VALM, you're at the same stage as me by the sound of things.

Trying not to use my extra points today, I'm feeling a bit snacky though. Need to go shopping tomorrow and pick up more healthy food, the cupboard resembles Old Mother Hubbard's place at the moment.:o

Hmm no loss today- well, the scale has measured me 1lb but only 100g less haha- and I'm wearing lighter trousers! I'll just put it down to time of the month I guess... the ticket has a lower number on it so it's fine :D

My first test since joining the plan today : we are having buffet lunch at work today. We've recently moved to a new building and share a floor with two other departments so are having get together at lunch. We all were asked to bring something. I have made some salsa and have bought some Dorritos.

VALM - steer clear of other people's salads, you don't know how fattening the dressing on it is! ( And you don't know where it was made either, some people's idea of a clean kitchen is to wipe the crumbs onto the floor with their forearm before they prepare the next food:eek:)

    Hi everyone!

I rejoined WW last night after 18 months away...PP looks great.
Was a bit shocked how much I weighed (9st 12.5lbs - i know it doesn't sound a lot but it is for a little un like me!) so I am aiming for a 19lbs loss.......:o

I'll break it down though as I go along so my first target is 5% - 9st 5lbs.

    Fingers crossed!! x

Thanks ailuro2. I did say to MrM that if there was any of my salsa left I wouldn't bring it home cos I didn't know who had been dipping their fingers/own cutlery into it! Unfortunately there were only three homebaked thiings there! which were my salsa, a bowl of couscous and some brownies. Everything else was supermarket party food ie mini cornish pasties, quiche, sausage rolls etc. There was a lot of cake. I didn't really control myself very well but I suppose that's life and I'm not going to chastise myself too much for it. There were left overs yesterday and if they are put out in the office today I'm steering clear. So far as I'm concerned yesterday has gone and it's back to it today. I did do a Salsacise DVD after tea last night as I felt so bloated and sluggish (funny how I have that feeling after only following the Plan for three weeks but I guess that means it's working) and I'm going on the Wii Fit now.

Bought the WW Points calculator yesterday as well which is going to be handy whilst shopping.

Have a good day everyone. x
