Hi All - hello to all newbies and well done everyone!

I feel like the poor relation admitting only lost half a pound this week (well three quarters but online doesnt accept that). But the scales are moving in the right direction and considering I had wine and fish n chips plus bread n butter I cant really complain! lol Stressful week - I am sure you ladies can relate :)

So off shopping with mum today who lost about 6 stone on WW a couple of years ago and is now on track again after gaining about 12lbs back so wont be any pressure to over munch :)

    Have a good weekend everyone:j

Jinx 1/2 lb is 1/2lb, better than carrying it around with you in a pack of butter, its all good;)

    hi

I am now beinging to thinkabout tomorrow and my first weigh in. I think i have done ok, not been hungry at all but only one day managed to eat all my points.

My daughter struggled to use all hers to but she had 36 against my 29. We went for a 3.5 mile walk yesterday and again today i walked to the local garage to get the sunday papers ( 3miles round trip) rather than the shop at the top of the road. So thats my extra exercize for this weekend taken care of.
I havent used any of the weekly points but today that may change.

Sunday lunch, roast beef today and i have pointed everything except the GRAVY. how the hell do i point that, i love proper gravy made with meat juices so i know it will be high but feel that if i use my 49 weekly points for this not a problem. but has anyone got any ideas about how best to get a points value woudlbe grateful. I cant stand packet gravy or granules so not going down that road i woud l rather have it dry.

    Any ideas would be appreciated.

Half a pound is a loss! I stayed the same the week before My 3lb loss, so because i worked so hard both weeks I lost it all in the end. If I could loose 1/2 lb every week I would be very happy:j
  • when I made gravy out of juices & veg (incl potatoes) from cooking lamb in the SC I had a small bit & pointed it at 4pps - twas well worth it too!

Well, I thoroughly enjoyed the dinner, with Gravy made with the juices and the veg water, and you were right it was worth it. I only had one small ladle full so will go for 5 points and fingers crossed it will be ok.

Day 1 for me today! Went to the shops this morning and got some ww snack stuff and some bread for my soup later. Im rather surprised that laughing cow extra light triangle is 0pp (apparently its 1pp for 3 triangles!) so…

For breakfast I’ve had 3 ww crackers (1pp) and 1 triangle.
For lunch I’ve got some tomato soup (4pp) and 2 pieces of ww bread (1pp per slice)
For dinner Im going to have some left over lamb (need to check points) and loads of veg (0pp). will also need to check points for gravy mmmm!!

Soooo many points to use!!! Might snack on some cheese and crackers again later before I go to the gym. Might even have a cheeky bag of crisps with my lunch!

    Hello ! Can I join you ?

I started ww two weeks ago and lost 3 pounds in my first week, I have weigh in again tomorrow and I seem to be doing well so far.

I lost three stones with ww three years ago, and my life has been a bit of a rollercoaster since, so I've put it all back on :o so I'm trying to shift it again and more, I've tried another few diets but nothing seems to be working as well for me, so I'm back again starting with propoints :)

Thanks hollowhead! This week is going to be a short week for me as I plan to have my WI on Fridays - mainly because I like to have a drink or several of a weekend and the occasional curry/Chinese/pizza.

I was telling one of my friends about ww earlier and how its now changed and said to her that Im going to be eating loads more food than what I was when eating normally which sounds veeeerrry odd to me! She said it sounds about right and its possible I haven’t been losing weight before because I haven’t been eating enough!! Does this sound right to you guys?!?!

My old WW leader used to say if You don't eat enough You wont loose weight. The one We have now doesn't agree! But I know a lot of people who only loose weight if they eat their daily alowance- so really not sure? Try eating all your points and see;) I save loads of my points for a drink and seem to loose as long as I count them:A. That is what is so good about WW You can eat/drink what You want as long as You don't go over Your points:beer:
