Hi everyone hope im not intruding

I know I might just have posted in here sometime ago when looking for advice but I want a fresh start as I have been refered to WW group from my GP. Am on the new Pro Points plan but am still confused about it which is why I have joined this support thread as if I dont get my head round it soon the enthusiasm will falter and the weight monster will have won again!

I have been to grouop now for 2 weeks and tonight will be my 3rd visit and so far I am enjoying it more than I expected.

In my first week I lost 5lb (which I know is high and can be expected in the first week of a new healthy eating plan so dont expect such great results each week, if I stay the same or lose 1 lb a week from now on thats good enough for me slowly and steadily is how I look at it. Although I am prepared for some disasters and some put ons allong the way am not looking foward to them so hope theres not many)

Anyway as I say tonight is week 3 for me on my 12 week referal.

My aim for this week is to find WW meals I can batch cook in portion control sized tubs and freeze for me and hubby so I have some 'ready meals'. I also aim to increase my exercise by going for a walk at least 3 times this week if not every day. This will be tough though as I dont usualy exercise at all due to a back problem but will try as I know it helps me more ways than just a few lb off.

So thats me in a nutter shell ! I will support you all as best as I can and keep the fire of enthusiasm stoked each time I pop in this thread:)

Best wishes for a fab week

well just had a long chat with my daughter and we have decided tomorrow is the day,
I have checked the time and place and we will be there for my first class.
I have tried weight watchers before but gave up very quickly as i couldnt get my head around it, my daughter on the other hand has her 10 % keyring at a class in a different area, she has been living away and just moved back to our home town with her family, and has promised to help me get started.
Fingers crossed i will get the hang of it this time

I need to lose about 5 stone, but dd says i must only set a small goal or i will be disheartened, so fingers crossed with her help I will get there this time. I have updated my sig already and will be able towatch the weight slip away ( hopefully) .

crisp I would recommend the website I posted yesterday on the previous page, it has loads of recipes pp'd which I am sure at least 85% you could freeze portions. I just made the mousakka off of there tonight for 9pp was tres filling mmmmmmmm

    Xmas Saver!
Weighed myself yesterday and another 1lb off :j

Can't complain as we did go out for dinner on Sunday to celebrate another birthday, but I was good ;) , no starter, and shared a pudding with my husband.

Starting to feel a bit smaller, clothes are getting a bit big, but when I try some of my "pre baby" clothes on, they are still a bit tight so a way to go.

Good to see so many others joining us on this thread. It's good to hear others tips and help!
:j Is MSE saving me money, or making me spend more on all the bargains?!:j

Ooh another new member! Welcome crisp £ note! Best of luck with your journey :)

Just weighed and I've STS- losses have slowed down so it's time for me to take some weekly points off myself, I've been eating them all so I'll try and use less this week and see what happens.
