Love that list!
I tried a strawberry mousse type dessert, and not very MSE but I threw it away it was sooo awful, mainly it just tasted of sweetener.
Prefer quavers (multi pack) to the WW crisps - most are too strongly flavoured.
Prefer milky way to WW bars

Hi everyone, I joined up (again) to WW online last weekend so I have my first WI on Monday! My first goal is to lose 8lbs by the end of August as my wedding dress has arrived in the shop and I've put on 8lbs since I was measured for it! Hope to keep the plan going and lose a bit more by my wedding in November.
Just wanted to add that I tried the WW raspberry cheesecake desserts at 5pp (!) each and in my opinion are not worth it... Quite creamy but not a great deal of flavour and the biscuit base wasn't that nice. Was annoyed afterwards that I'd wasted 5pp!0 -
FYI: I'm 25 year old guy (used to play a lot of rugby, swimming, gym etc) went to uni and the flubber got me. Finshed Uni, working full-time for last 9 months and decided enough is enough. Time to fight the fat!
Strangely I'm in exactly the same boat! I'm 25 (though female), used to walk loads when I was at uni. I was reasonably fit and bang in the middle of the ideal weight for my height.
Since graduating and particularly in the last year I've managed to put on 2 stone which I think is mostly due to my sedentry office job. Although I suppose it doesn't sound like loads, I feel like I'm in someone elses body and am really uncomfortable, plus hardly any of my clothes fit me now so I have to live in leggings and things that are baggy.
Have joined today and will be going to my first meeting on Monday with my sister. Hoping to shame myself into action! Finally bought a homeStarting mortgage £289,500 31.01.19 - Current outstanding £192,984.78/CENTER]Overpayments since 27.03.19: £52,341.430 -
Hi everyone
Loving the lists folks and the pp values of stuff, our chief tasters:D
I love Walkers Squares 3pp per packet in particular salt & vinegar flavour. I love the ww dessert yogurts have them with strawberries or melon for a very low pp pud pud
Shape yogurts are 2pp, I love them but not to everyones liking. If you need a choccie fix try shape velvety choc dessert yummy yummy for pp value of 3pp..they have been on offer £1 for 4 at Mr M's. Tend not to buy at full price around £1.60 . I think they are better than ww similar choc dessert, which are also pretty nice cant remember but they are 2pp's I think.
Oh and if you havent tried them the ww bba flavoured snacks are gorgeous but pricey at 55p per pack 2pp, you can get them in class or buy on line from the shop. They do two other flavours but the bbq are my favourites

can I join? from march to september 2009 I lost 42lb with weightwatchers and was very happy, only had another stone to go.
then I started uni, and really tried to keep it up but as my work load increased (I was also working and have a young child) I found that time I was spending at the uni gym needed to be spent reading/doing seminar work etc and by the end of the year I'd put on 16lb. since completing my second year, I've on another 14lb.
I got married recently and felt like a failure in my size 16 dress, when I'd got down to a 12 before. I look at pictures from then and want to look like that again.
I did join a ww class, but tbh I don't really like the pp system. I look at things that used to be 3 points and are now 7pp and think no I can't eat that its too many points. I couldnt take the leader seriously, she was at least a size 18 and I had trouble believing that she was practising what she was preaching so left.
I like the idea that fruit is now free, but don't like the increased pp and find it very complicated to work out pp even with the calculator as not all products state everything it asks for. I also got fed up paying the fees too!
so, I basically need to lose nearly 4 stone - which seems incredibly daunting. can I weigh myself at home and then log onto this thread?
thanks for reading, I know its a bit long!0 -
Hi Marywooyeah
Its open to everyone on here and many weight themselves at home and are not ww members online or go to a class, so feel free.
Dont beat yourself up, you can get back there. Congratulations on getting married too
I have bee a ww member for a while now and switched to the pp plan and love it..I just blanked out the old plan its the only weigh I can do it. I lost my way but kept going to class and the pp plan helped me get back on track.
You will be fine whatever you do and the support on here is great.
Good luck with your journey and look forward to reading about your weight loss success chickFootiemad:footie: 2013 - SPC no.1147...Keeep potting!!

thankyou hun, I think part of it is the "tail between the legs" feeling, that I let myself get back to looking like this.
Is pp really better? I think I find it hard to go from "this plan will change your life" and following it to lose three stone to "actually, everything we said before was wrong and this is the way to do it", I think I got a bit disillusioned with it.
I feel ready to lose weight again though, I look in the mirror and see the photograph which triggered me to lose weight, but hopefully if I dd it once I can do it again! x0 -
I lost another 2.5lbs this week, bringing me to 1.5 stones and my 10% goal :j I think I must have forgotten to post here though
Since then I've been out for dinner once (low PP pasta for main, garlic bread & cheese for starter. Oops!) and have a lunch at Frankie and Bennys today. I'm going to try and be good but I promise nothing0 -

Your welcome chick
We have all been there and its just a case of getting back in the saddle and not letting it get the better of you.
The old plan did work but sometimes a change is as good as a rest.
I love the pp plan, I struggle sometimes but thats just me not the plan, life gets in the way and you get distracted, but I never stray from the bigger picture.
The pp plan doesnt suit all but I think its great, especially with the 49 weekly points as you dont have to scrimp and save out of your dailies if you slip or have a lot of meals out etc.
You have your lose weight head on so you will do it. Little steps and dont look at the bigger picture set yourself mini goals, it an be your 1st 7lbs or a dress you want to get back into anything just to keep you going so the journey doesn't look as long.
I am sure you will be back where you want to be in no timex
