You never know, I've had weeks when I think I've eaten loads, but have managed to stay on track, and others when I've been good and have gained weight.

You were right! I lost another 1lb:) so that's 13lb so far but oddly my iPhone app thinks I now get 45 points a day! That's an increase of 7 points- i think it's harbouring a gremlin! If you aim for the moon if you miss at least you will land among the stars!0 -
Hello, I'm a newbie on here!
Rejoined WW last week and I am 35lbs over my goal wt.
Started on PP and really love it, but my wt loss today was only 1.5lbs.
I was a wee bit disappointed - am I wrong to feel like this?:o I didnt use any weekly points and one of the girls today said I may need to eat a bit more to lose? Is that true, or is it one of those dieting myths? LOL!
Also, I do a lot of easy walking but could do with upping my activity a bit so I am open to suggestions ( not done anything for years) Does anyone use a Wii Fit?
Any advice on these queries would be most appreciated!:)
you will always be rich enough to be generous.0 -

Welcome
Yep eating weeklies does tend to help for most of us, they are calculated as what you can eat and still lose weight so don't feel naughty having them :P Try it out and see what happens
As my username suggests (means "lazy" in Japanese) I'm not the most active so can't help a lot on the exercise front- but how about swimming? Apparently better all-round exercise than running, and somewhat easier!0 -
I think this week, for the first time ever, I will use some weekly points. As some of you know, I struggle to use my daily points; that's more a general lifestyle thing than anything else.
Today have had lunch out - stuck with a really big salad, with just a touch of dressing. But then had CAKE!!!!!
And tea is going to be Chinese - I'm too scared to even look it up! And WINE!!!
And probably more CAKE!!!!
I'll be missing WI on Saturday as I'm away for the weekend, so can only hope that the amount of walking I do counteracts the extra rubbish I'll be eating and just resign to it.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

Our work experience guy has a new job, as a parting gift he brought us a HUGE box of Thorntons!!! Only had 3 which was pretty good for me - but each one was 2 propoints.......
My hubby officially thinks I am sad as I translate everything into berry berry soleros eg for those 3 sweets I could have had 2 berry berry soleros... lol Addicted methinksLight Bulb Moment - 11th Nov 2004 - Debt Free Day - 25th Mar 2011 :j0 -
I do that too... soleros and the like are definitely a better deal than a couple of chocs aren't they!
Speaking of ice cream I went to lidl yesterday and found the Skinny Cow ice cream sticks for 99p! Apparently the mint ones are only 2pp (we ate them while out so got rid of the box, but according to the internet they're 2pp- I put 3 in just incase though).0 -
...what would you point 1/6 of an apple pie from the bakery at the co-op? 6 or 7?0

Also I'm even happier as I fit in trousers at primark now. Granted they're size 20 (and I'm usually an 18) but that's by the by as primark sizes are at least 1 bigger than real sizes I'm sure. Also they were £1 a pair!! :j
Tried some new WW stuff today too from Poundland, I got:
Sultana + cinnamon cookies: very dry, but more taste to them than munching on a rich tea I guess, 2pp for 2, they're packaged in twos
Sun Dried Tomato & Italian Herb Savoury Biscuits: Really quite tasty! Again, they're 2pp for 2, so could have 20g of cheese with them for a little 4pp snack (if I've worked out cheese as basically 1pp for 10g... that's right isn't it?)
our PS has chocolate caramel bars - OMG they are delish & 2pp!
well done everyone on your losses :T
I made a decision today & cancelled my membership as I'm terrible at sticking to diets & I have (almost) all of the info I need to do the plan so I'm going it alone. Haven't WI today as I have been slack but will next week after sticking to the plan for a week.... wish me luck!
(hope I can still rely on you guys for support :A)
