...what would you point 1/6 of an apple pie from the bakery at the co-op? 6 or 7?

Well I have on my tracker (cos i added them lol) one piece of tesco lemon meringue pie is 6 points and one piece of lovely coop carrot cake is 7. You cant be too far wrong with either.

My very bad lunch today was curry supernoodles......sooooo wish i had pointed them before I had. The packet was 14 points......

Definitely feeling PMTish - currently arguing in my head if Im having fish n chips take away tonight..... dont really have the points to cover it but want it! Stamps feet........... :(

Thanks, gone for the higher one just in case, can't be a bad thing!

Yes supernoodles are TERRIBLE for points! I used to eat packs of those as snacks, thinking nothing of it... I think the Tesco brand ones are 16! Much rather have 15pp worth of pasta and 1pp of butter for that!

Bought some different WW yoghurts this week as they're 2 packs for £2 at Tesco, tried the berry layered fromage frais ones and they're DELICIOUS! Definitely recommended. The other pack is the toffee + vanilla normal ones, sure they'll be nice. The dessert style ones are nice but they were getting boring...

our PS has chocolate caramel bars - OMG they are delish & 2pp!

well done everyone on your losses :T

I made a decision today & cancelled my membership as I'm terrible at sticking to diets & I have (almost) all of the info I need to do the plan so I'm going it alone. Haven't WI today as I have been slack but will next week after sticking to the plan for a week.... wish me luck!

(hope I can still rely on you guys for support :A)

Ooh they sound nice, have to see if they have them when I go on Monday!

Best of luck going it alone, as you know I do and I'm mostly doing OK... don't think I'd do anything different as a paid up member really!

so, I am insanely bored and thought I'd put this together:

    weight watchers non-snack food;

    - Quiche, 7 points for the 'whole thing' - it's tiny and tasted of rubbery egg and a bit of flavour - I've tried both flavours in Tesco and found the same with both.
    - arabiatta pizza - 6pp I think per oval, lovely, like a loaded pitta bread! These are delicious but a bit small (think small side plate oval sized).
    - beans per can 4pp (I think) - runny, no flavour, not worth their price.
    - Spagetti (4pp per can), lovely, flavoursome and thick enough sauce.

    Weight-watchers snacky food

Crisps: (all bought in bags of 6 for £1 in poundland)
    - tomatoe and basil balls - you get a lot in the packet, they're not as flavoured as alternatives but they're great for 2 points each.
    - tortilla chips (cant remember the flavour) - these are lovely, I like the baked texture, theyre not like 'normal' chips as they aren't as crispy. Great flavour though.
    - ready salted crisps - the BEST, they taste just like mcoys. Quite salty though.
    - salt and vinegar sticks- not salty nor vinegary - pointless waste of 2 pp.

    - sun dried tomatoe and italian her savoury biscuits - 2pp per 2 biscuits - these are lovely, perfect with marmite and some cheese :) great little snack for under 5pp when you're peckish.

    - vanilla and toffee yoghurts- both lovely and quite creamy, well worth 1pp each.
    - dessert flavoured yoghurts - 1pp each - i didn't like these, too runny and not flavoury enough.

not great descriptions but I hope it helps someone!

I'm on a mission to find 'proper' food low alternatives for the above and found these were 'worth it':

    twiglets - 3pp
    wotsits - 3pp
quavers - 2pp for the multipack bags

    any more from anyone?

Great list! I disagree about the dessert yoghurts but each to their own! I do agree about those sun dried tomato biscuits though- lovely!

Quavers are 3pp for the shop bought bags, 2 for the multipack bags. I love quavers! Also Tesco Value multipack snacks (onion rings, cheese puffs, salt + vinegar sticks) are 2 or 3pp per pack, not lots of stuff but very cheap!

If anyone hasn't discovered Laughing Cow Light cheese spread by now, go and buy some! It's 1pp for 2 triangles and still nice and creamy. The extra light isn't so creamy but has a "cheesier" flavour, maybe better for cooking (don't know what you'd cook but yeah)

Butler-helen you missed my FAVES - berry berry soleros mmmmmmmmmmm yum yum!!

And I did have the fish n chips for dinner ladies, really enjoyed them, my first takeaway in nearly 8 weeks and left a load of the chips. Ended up -11 points which is not good. I guess will see at WI tomorrow... :) STS would be a result after this :)

    Hello everyone,

I've just found this thread after signing up to WW on the 3 month plan (so I am in for the long haul!). Current weight is 15st 4lb and i've set my initial target weight for 13st exactly.

I am n00b to WW and the PP counter....signed up online and going for a shop tomorrow to stock up on healthier items etc. So fingers crossed, I'll lose this belly of mine.

FYI: I'm 25 year old guy (used to play a lot of rugby, swimming, gym etc) went to uni and the flubber got me. Finshed Uni, working full-time for last 9 months and decided enough is enough. Time to fight the fat!
