I'm relatively new to it myself, but I think it is normal to fluctuate a bit. Even so, you've still lost 5 lb so far, so its still good. You are probably toning up, which is why your clothes are looser.
Do you stay for the class, or do you just whizz in and get weighed. It may be worth speaking to others and see how they progressed, or ask the leader.

On another matter entirely, I borrowed a friends 'Eat Out' book, and my meal after WI on Tuesday was a whopping 32 pp:eek:

32 isn't bad if you used your 49 weeklies? I'm just plotting my meal at the Lebanese and have no idea on points- Im planning to stick to tomatoey based sauces, no dessert and keeping my mits off the bread! Surely I can't blow 49 points in two courses and diet coke?

Well done on your weightloss so far vendee. Are you writing down what you eat and weighing and measuring? Just a thought. Also if you are doing more exercise than normal it may be an idea to have a few more of your weekly points.

Are you going a long time between meals this can sometimes hinder your weightloss. You are losing lots of inches so thats a plus too. Dont give up just keep tracking and weighing and measuring and you will do fine,

Another thought are you eating a lot of carbs this can affect your weightloss too. Hope I have been of some help. I am sure others will be along later to give you some worthwhile tips too. ;)

Hi thank you for your reply, yes I am weighing & measuring everything that I eat. I eat at regular times as well :) but I think you may be right about the carbs so I am going to cut down on them this week & see how I do. Thank you again x

Hi I suppose I'm a bit impatient :o but I will see what happens in the next couple of weeks as footiemad suggested I might be eating too many carbs, which I think could be right :o but thank you for your help x

Hi !! I joined Weight Watchers last Monday and would like to lose a couple of stone.

I can't believe how much better I feel in just 3 days. Because I haven't got my head around recipes yet, I have had mostly eggs, tuna, ham, salads, fruit, yogurt, porridge, jacket potatoes and couscous and I think it has acted almost like a detox. I've got more energy, and my clothes feel looser already!! Looking forward to my weigh in on Monday (not sure I'll be saying that too often!!)!!!!

Your welcome vendee. I know that when I eat a lot of carbs I either dont lose much or stay the say.

Its a balancing act for all of us and our bodies tend to do what they like:eek: Good luck and keep us posted. :D

Urgh, 1lb on this week. There were just too many things this week that I couldn't accurately point... homemade cakes from work, a meal out..

    Feeling fat now!!!

    Hi Guys

Todays weigh in, have dropped another 2lbs, 11 off now. I've also dropped another propoint, now on 35... I have discovered this week berry berry soleros and I think Im addicted!!!! Tonights dinner includes m&s tiramisu, my hubby was trying to get the whole thing to himself but I've got the points to cover it so he has no chance :)
