I was doing really well on pro-points and had lost one stone and half a pound.Just been on two weeks all inclusive holiday and put 3lb on, I thought it would be worse than that.Im hoping to get going again this week, I won the kitchen scales in the raffle and they are fab, think they will help me a lot.Keep going everyone, it really works if you stick to it.0

Supersavershal, I know how you feel, I've just been away for a week, and treated myself far too much. Takeaways, cakes etc! But weighed myself this morning and I've only put 1lb on so I'm actually quite happy!
Stacked the fridge full of good foods, so stir frys, ww quiches and salad this week. Have just had my home made bolognese and thats not high in points either.
I got my propoints calculator today that I got free with the Sun. So now it'll be easier to calculate the points when I'm in the shops!:j Is MSE saving me money, or making me spend more on all the bargains?!:j0 -
Hi all

You can sign a visitor slip at any new meeting until you find one that suits as far as I'm aware.0

yep you can go to any meeting you dont have to go to your usual one. As flying rightly said you fill in a visitor sheet and pay/show monthly pass, and then when you find a meeting thats suitable you just request to transfer and they request your sheet from your usual meeting. It is helpful to text your leader and tell them you are having to weigh in at different meetings so that they dont mark your sheet an a non-attender0

I had my first weigh in tonight and lost 2.5lbs. I am well chuffed considering I ate out 4 times last week (and stuffed myself every time on non-healthy choices) and was knocking back smirnoff ices at the weekend (each one has the same propoints as a dairy milk!). Just goes to show what crap I was eating before.
No eating out planned this week so will hopefully lose more -yeeha!If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!0 -
Week 3 for me and a loss of 1lb - so thats 5lb in 3wks hoping for 2lb next week (to make 7lbs in 1 month!)0

Hi everyone not sure if there are many male posters on here but I'd like to give any help / encouragement I can to all. I have been following the WW (old version Discovery Plan) mainly to support my wife who was doing it to lose weight for our holidays. I didn't think it fair for her to be eating diet food whilst I munched on fish and chips etc...
On May 11th this year I weighed in at 14st 4lb, as of Saturday just gone I was 12st 13lb my goal weight is 12st 6lb, so in 9 weeks my losses have been 1st 3.5 lb . I like the WW plan as although I have had to alter some eating habits, I can use my points for my sweet tooth if I need. I have found a major factor in my weight loss was giving up alcohol, and daily gym visits (typically run 5km per day). All I ask is the chance to prove that money can't make me happy...

Hmm, 3.5lbs on. Probably about right with the amount I ate this weekend!0

I bought a copy of the takeaway secret cookbook that has recipes for making meals just like takeaway shops and today I made spiced onions like the onion chutney/spiced onions you get in indian takeaways. I was eating it with crispbreads at 1 pro point each rather than popadoms but any ideas for anything with less points that I could munch it with?If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!0
