  • i've started weightwatchers again having lost 4 and a half stone previously, and then putting a wee bit of it back on-i'm still doing the old points system as i can't erase it from my mind, but i've lost 7 and a half pounds in 5 weeks, so pretty happy with that, i'm actually doing a 'thirty pounds in thirty weeks' type things so that i can hopefully go from 11.2(start weight) to 9 stone(maybe goal weight, but i might go lower than that)-writing my weight down everyweek and rewarding myself with a star for every pound lost is very rewarding, and because i only need to lose a pound a week to stay on track, it gets rid of the whole 'awww i only lost a pound' type thing, which would make me quit before, as i always wanted big weight losses because i'm lazy lol (although i still secretly always hope for more than a pound!)

Have just been to the local chocolate cafe, where I've had the most gorgeous bowl of juicy strawberries accompanied by a pot of dipping chocolate! Still felt like a huge treat, but nowhere near as many points as the cake I was eyeing up instead!

I'm just about to throw some homemade pizza in the oven for dinner (Should be under 12PPs if I can be sparing with the cheese!!)

Last night I was a little naughty and had a cone of B&Js Cookie Dough at the cinema. I did resist when he asked if I wanted two scoops though :A

My plan for today was to do loads of walking an exercise some of it off, but sadly Edinburgh is seeing the Weather of the Apocalypse, so I might have to leave exercise until tomorrow :D

Meringue nests are my new fave!! Got some frozen berries and have them with a meringue nest and some fat free yogurt, so it somehow seems more food!

I've had that FOUR times this week, using a weight watchers 1 point yogurt. Perfection... and filling!!!

Even with a small scoop of the most delicious ice cream it's only 5 points!

Woohoo 3lbs off :D Grand total loss of 2 stone 5 lbs now :D

Also I'm even happier as I fit in trousers at primark now. Granted they're size 20 (and I'm usually an 18) but that's by the by as primark sizes are at least 1 bigger than real sizes I'm sure. Also they were £1 a pair!! :j

Tried some new WW stuff today too from Poundland, I got:

Sultana + cinnamon cookies: very dry, but more taste to them than munching on a rich tea I guess, 2pp for 2, they're packaged in twos

Sun Dried Tomato & Italian Herb Savoury Biscuits: Really quite tasty! Again, they're 2pp for 2, so could have 20g of cheese with them for a little 4pp snack (if I've worked out cheese as basically 1pp for 10g... that's right isn't it?)

I have WI tomorrow but don't think I've done that well as I've been at the cinema every night since Friday with either popcorn or icecream :o I'm still within my points, but think I'll have a STS this week.

On the plus side, I saw a colleague I've not seen for six weeks today and she said I'm looking great and spotted that I'd lost weight right away :D

Been for WI and lost another 3½ pounds. I've had similar reaction to F_F someone commented that I'm looking better. Also, the reason I finally joined WW was when a pair of trousers I'd bought didn't fit me 2 weeks later; today they fitted well enough to wear them for a job interview and a 300 mile round trip journey. So really pleased with that.

I joined up this week and have got loads to lose but pro-points seems really easy (time will tell though!) with no deprivation. I will get round to reading the whole thread and the backdated one for some hints and tips but seems like portion size has been my total downfall and not realising just how bad some foods are. I used the equivalent of nearly 70 points in a McDonalds binge this week and nearly fell off my chair at the meeting when I read the points book and worked that out. I won't be making that mistake again haha!
