teasleym, I did the fish and chips thing a few weeks back, was surprised by how greasy it felt - don't get me wrong the fish was very tasty, but the chips I could have done without. I'll save the pp next time and just have the fish.Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

Mintymoneysaver, I dont envy you that weekend - the socialising will be great but sooo much temptation. Takeaway yum yum lol
Well, I didn't do too badly... I'll admit the takeaway involved sweet and sour chicken with fried rice and some gorgeous prawn toast things, and a couple of glasses of wine, but I hadn't used up too many points before I got there. Saturday wasn't too bad, toast for breakfast, a bacon barm for lunch, but I ate mostly bacon and only a bit of bread. I didn't have any bread with the bbq, so just two sausages, some chicken and plenty of salad, followed by meringues with fresh fruit and just a small spoonful of ice cream!
Sunday was toast, then a scone mid morning at the ice cream farm! The buffet was okay, ate pasta salad, potato salad, a couple of chicken drumsticks and then 2 pieces of cake! No wine though, as I was driving.
I'll have stuck to my 29 points again today, so I'm just hoping that with all the walking I've done this week too, I might just have stayed the same! Just off to have a go on the wii fit for a bit of extra help!0 -

That's what I've been doing the last few times I've had it. ( Usually just after my weigh in!!!)0 -
I'm back from Wimbledon, weigh in day is tomorrow, so no idea how I've done, but think I managed OK. I couldn't really point any of it up, as it was all at concession stands etc.
The prices alone prevented over-eating at Wimbledon, and we took a lot of stuff with us to snack on, fruit and carrot sticks etc. Had the strawberries, but without the cream, not because of WW, but because there was far too much cream and I don't really like it!
Filled up with fruit and yoghurt at breakfast, 2 cups of coffee, but also had a mini Danish. In service stations, just had coffee.
But we did walk for miles!Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

If I have it again, I'll have a half portion, as I felt stuffed after having it, and that was only a half portion of chips and I didn't eat most of the batter on the fish. Wouldn't have had it but I just "wanted" chips and we couldn't be bothered to cook so it was easy.
Stir fry tonight!:j Is MSE saving me money, or making me spend more on all the bargains?!:j0 -
Hello there
I'm thinking about trying WW online and wondered if anyone had any experience of it? I've tried lots of different meetings but stopped going either because I couldn't get there (no car, 2 children and hubby not home from work until 6.30/7pm) or because I binge after a couple of weeks good weight lss and feel too embarrassed to go back.... and then put it all back on plus more
Any advice very welcomePaying off CC in 2011 £2100/£1692

Hmm should have weighed in today but couldn't as I'm on work experience at a school before my teacher training in September. Fortunately I have an appointment in town tomorrow morning so can nip to Boots and see the damage, I've been a bit slack with it this week but I'm 99% sure I was still within my weeklies.0

I did the esource thing for a while, and found it really good for recipes etc. But as nobody else was checking my weight, it was easy to slip. That's why I now go to classes.
And on that point, I've lost another pound and a half this week. Which considering the weekend, isn't too bad.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

Hi there
Are there anyday time classes that you can get to. It may suit you better.
I did the monthly pass and it made me go even if I didnt have have a good week, now I help and so I feel I have to go every week and it helps. Your not on your own, we all have slip ups now and again but the secret is to pick yourself up and dust yourself off and start again.
