Go for a walk, earn some activity points and then have a muffin?0 -
Hi,
I thought I'd try and join in. I went to my first meeting on Wednesday - I tried the old points a year or so ago without much success. I do like the propoints much better. I have no will power so I used to swap good things for bad on the old system. This time I'm eating more fruit and veg and so I'm too full to snack. I hope I manage to do as well as a lot if you seem to.0 -

At work I seemed to deal with every nutter in town and in a moment of stress I had 2 Bailey's Profiteroles that were on the table.
Now I'm at home, have no daily points left, I only have 10 weeklies left for today and tomorrow, and everyone here is eating Strawberry and White Choc Muffins - 13 PP each!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Do I sulk or cave in :-(
Oh I know that feeling! I had a good sulk and it paid off. But thats not fun for everyone else I guess. Is there anything else around you would deem as a treat but is less points?0 -
Hi
I've only just found this thread. I was doing ww online, got a deal through quidco, but found that I wasn't really sticking to it. So for the last 3 weeks I've been going to a class, and its made a bit of a difference, I've lost 6 pounds so far.
I can highly recommend the chilli recipe that Flyin_fresian posted, as I think its the same one I've been using for a year or 2. But I use less mince as my slow cooker is smaller!
I don't really understand how the points work because I am on the minimum points and have over 5 stone to lose. I do find it difficult to use my total allowance each day though, but that is probably a lifestyle thing - my idea of breakfast is 2 cups of tea, followed by 2 cups of coffee.
This weekend I am off to Wimbledon though, so although the strawberries are free, I will no doubt succumb to lots of other temptations.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

Cadbury's Boost at 8 points maybe... a KitKat at 3 points just isn't going to work... I'll have to try and keep busy and forget they're there....
I still live at home, and my mum wants to defrost the freezer so we've had to use up whatever is in there this week, and it's been bad stuff... chips, lamb shanks, duck and pancakes, normally I'd have enough points for occasions like this!!!OU Student! - ED209, SDK125, DSE212, SK124, DSE141, SD226, DXR222, DD303, DD307 = BSc Psychology0 -

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:@ your idea of breakfast!!
Have fun at Wimbledon, I'm horribly jealous0 -
I think all of us face temptation on a daily basis - sometimes we give in, and we have the weeklies to cover us for it. If we gave in every time something nice was wafted past our nose then there would be no point doing WW.
I'm a firm believer in giving in to temptation for something that is within my points and worth it. ( those little WW swirl pots are definitely worth it, Mars Bars definitely are not, Mars Celebrations for 1pp each are definitely worth it too)Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

I've just succumbed to a fun size Milky Way, only to discover that for an extra point I could have had a proper one! And I'd have to walk to the shop to get a proper one, so would have gained activity points too!Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

Can someone explain activity points to me please? As I'm not a member of online or groups or anything I've no idea what I can take activity points for. I presume there's a level of daily activity you have to hit before earning them?
It's not like I'm doing masses of exercise, but I'm presuming I've let a few go to waste in the past!0
