I think on the whole it's just a case of whatever you eat that's within the points range (whether chocolate cake or ryvitas) will be an amount of calories that still allows you to lose weight.

I had a KFC (2 and a bit pieces of chicken, chips and gravy) and other naughty things around my birthday, but worked it out to be within my leftover daily points and my weeklies- and I still lost 2lbs that week!

hi all, can i join too?
Just joined weight watchers online on Tuesday - tried once before 3 years ago.

Think i am doing ok so far, but need to loose quite a bit of weight and am just trying to get my head around the pro points system.

My main problem is lunch - never know what to have so normally skip it but trying to come up with ideas of what to make to take to work.
Sitting in an office all day i need something filling otherwise by 3pm im craving chocolate/biscuits.
    Any ideas gratefully received.:D

I normally take a bag of food to work with me :D Normally I have:

    Banana 0PP
    Apple 0PP
    Satsuma/pear 0PP
Bag of WW crisps or WW choccy bar 2-3PP

Lunches are difficult, because I do love bread, so I tend to just have a sandwich and just eat more veg with dinner at night :o If you have a microwave in your office could you take tins of soup or 0PP soup you've made yourself?

Hi - I've been lurking for a while. Can I join you? Had my weigh in the morning and hit my 3 stone off mark! Am very excited. I have 10lbs to go to reach my goal (will have lost 52lbs in total then!) and I really want to get there (want to go to meetings free and be slimmer!).

I tried it on line and in meetings and I think it helps me personally to have someone looking at my weight every week. I haven't had a week without a loss which is fab. There are some weeks where I am convinced I have put weight on - this week being one of them and I have been well chuffed when I have lost. Loving propoints - it has taken away the guilt!

I think that's a nice target to aim for.

I had a yummy lunch the other day:

Half a chicken breast (chopped) with about 2 tablespoons of Lighter Than Light mayo in a tortilla wrap with some salad and a cheeky 30g of cheese. Ooh it was yummy and I worked it out as 9PP which is quite a lot but it was well worth it :D If you take out the cheese it's only 6PP as I only used half a chicken breast.

I left the other half to cool on the counter and the sodding cat got it, which I suppose is an extreme method of weight control :rotfl:
