I used the link to calculate my allowance and it is 46 again
I would only reach that if I pigged out on takeaway, i did my 1st day counting today and only got to 26!
Will not eating my allowance impair my ability to lose weight??
are you putting in your stats correctly? Sorry not meaning to be patronising but I was doing mine & it kept coming up as 49 pps (I'm on 29 so I knew that was wrong) then figured I was putting my weight in as lbs not kg!DF as at 30/12/16

Does that mean i can munch on an extra bar of chocolate (I've bought mini bars that are 4/5 points each) to make my points up ? or should I be trying to eat healthy but higher point snacks like cheese and crackers or ham sandwich ?
the reason i didnt reach my point allowance could be because i cut out bread and high carb foods as i know i loose more weight if i do that x
wholemeal pasta & bread is better than white. The idea is to eat more protein & fibre foods. some treats are fineDF as at 30/12/16

I've emailed weight watchers help and my correct allowance Is 46 points but I don't know how I will eat that many and lose weight.
I'm going to increase my protein and see if I can get up to 35/40 points a day.
I'm only on my 2nd day but so far its going good, i'm taking the baby out for a 2 hour walk later that should help if i do it everyday.0 -
Afternoon all, i'm a newbie on this section ...... but i'm joining WW in the morning (about tenth attempt !).
I havent tried the new pro points yet, and keep kidding myself i can do it alone, but cant, everytime i lose a pound, i put two back on!!!!
My question is i was considering joining this time and paying for the monthly pass by direct debit, has anybody found it easier to stick to knowing its being taken by direct debit, rather than pay cash on the day of the meeting? Also do i have to pay for the first meeting tomorrow, or will they just take my direct details to set up the monthly pass?0 -
hello. I've just joined today on line.
I also have to loose weight for medical treatment, at least a stone for them to treat me but i need to loose at least 2 overall.
I'm finding the new system strange. I keep thinking of the 'old' values and think x points for that it's not worth it! I think it might help me to add in some of my weekly points to start with. i'm dreadful at snacking especially in the evening or when my son has his rest. i must try harder not to.Jan Grocery Challenge £175/£200 :j0 -
Half way through my first week and I'm really worried! I've not gone over my points, I've only used 10 of the 49 weekly points and I've eaten a McChicken Sandwich, a KP White Choc Dip and half a Kitkat Senses. And this diet really works?!?

I can relate to this as I get 37 points a day.
I found that eggs and toast count more than cereal and I love boiled eggsI had tuna salad today but found I needed something 'more' so had some crackers too. Dinner was chicken, potatoes and veg but I upped my amounts a little to add up the points. Also had 2 cornettos as have had lots of lovely fruit as snacks and Im just 2 points left to eat but its nearly time for bed!
I do think sometimes I shouldnt lose weight on this amount of points but I am trusting the WW boffins and have my 2nd weigh in on Saturday, which will be 10 days into it.... fingers crossedLight Bulb Moment - 11th Nov 2004 - Debt Free Day - 25th Mar 2011 :j0 -

I have earned an extra 11 activity points too this week, although I haven't dipped into them yet :A
