Anyone fancy joining me for a HHC @ 9? I'm giving you plenty of notice!

I'll see whether I can drag myself out of bed by then, in which case I'll be opening curtains and windows, and clearing up the mess that resulted from food shopping yesterday. I really shouldn't go shopping when I'm not feeling well as although I bought lots of fruit and veg I also bought rather a lot of junk.

Need to get up in time to get to the post office as I have stuff that has been waiting to be posted since Monday :o

NOT meant as being snappy, Valli! Reading that back, it could have been taken as that - but it wasn't meant that way!

  • Have done next to no flying this week - I've done dailies and cherry picked bits of lists but generally - rubbish week for cleaning!

I did however find a lovely 3 bed house to rent which we should have secured next week pending a credit check (though we have no rent arrears history and such so shouldn't be a problem). I've also packed about 15 boxes and bags so I'm letting myself off with flying for the time being! Move in date will be the first week in March so it's all go until then.

Downside of the new house, I now have an extra bedroom, dining room, stairs, a landing and sunroom to clean which I don't have now!

Morning all, kids up bright and early this morning and me just up. :D

My mum called up yesterday and i must say the house was looking good. Then hubby wanted sister and BIL up to watch a movie, they stayed until 2am and then i had to leave them home. So foot is firmly down today, i'm not moving and it will be bed early. ;)

Poor Rhys ended up at the out of hours last night and he has a chest infection, poor pet coughed until he was sick. :( May need to take DS2 into the doctors on monday if he doesn't stop coughing.

Plan today is a little bit of flying and i may have a friend calling up with her kids (bit excited as i never have anyone up :o).

    Happy Birthday choccybix :bdaycake:
    Happy Belated Birthday Natty :bdaycake:
Lots of healing vibes for mudders.
Triker what a week for you, big hugs.
neveah big hugs to you and your DD.

Right better go feed everyone and get hubby up.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

    Oohh, love your post.

There's something special about a 'new' house, finding cupboards in places which frankly are strange?

We have one in a cupbard, in our halway!!!

    Good Luck esio trot

    Happy birthday choccybix

    Morning all

I didn't have a drink last night, because I fell asleep on the sofa, but I read a bit when I woke up.

Been up since 8am, had a cuppa and read/replied to e-mails. Next is breakfast for me and DS2, then a HHC and a bit extra for maintenance before turfing DS1 out of his pit. That's a challenge and a half.

Plans after that in no particular order:
    bath
    budget
food shopping (need to decide where we are going)
    plastic recycling
school stuff - to-do list first so I can prioritise
    DS2 homework
phone restaurant in Germany for quote
    tea
laundry (WM on with towels at the moment)

Best be off, then. Have a good weekend, everyone. x

ETA Happy birthday to choccybix and belated Happy Birthday to natty! Sorry I forgot.
  • Happy Birthday choccybix and to Natty for yesterday. Would send a cake but no idea how to do this !

Up early today as the cat was crying for breakfast at 6.30 am She didn't realise it was week end :(

Washer on and quick tidy up. Off to do kitchen and clean out a couple of cupboards in there, cant put washing out as very damp here and no sign of the sun yet.

Hope every one has great week end
    Hugs to all
