She mentioned that KH1 won't allow her a doorkey and will double lock the front door tonight to ensure that she doesn't leave the house for the weekend. That, I do believe, because he used to do that to me when DD was a baby - if he left the flat, I would be locked in with DD until he returned. Until she sees that as wrong, there's no point in wading in, though.

Perhaps the novelty of living with him is wearing off. Oh well, it's her lesson to learn. If she leaves there, she will have to get her own place.
:eek::eek::eek:how would she get out in an emergency?

I know - at least when he did it to me, I only had single glazing in the ground floor flat, so would have been able to luzz the vacuum cleaner or microwave through the window to get out.

TBH, they'd probably have trouble getting to the front door even if it were unlocked in the event of a fire. The whole place - four bedrooms, 3 receptions, kitchen, hall, landing, toilets, bathroom, garage, driveway and garden are all full to the ceilings with sH1-t.

You itch when you have stood at the door for 5 minutes because the herds of dustmites sit by the front door (unswept for at least the 22 years I have known them) waiting to have a go at some new lungs.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.
