Hi everybody
Busy work day so been abit bone I'm afraid. Wm x1, Dw loaded, HHC0 -
Popping in, skimmed thread, all flying done. Hugs to all and extra Hugs as well it sounds as if they are needed. Been through the dog thing, so heartbreaking but it's true you never trust them again, and the top doggy psychologists and vets say every bite gets worse.( I rang 5 independant ones and was willing to pay a fortune) You just can't risk it. Nothing stops it hurting but i found having my cats was a comfort. Don't know if that's an option to help the heartache. DDad finally went to get checked at hospital last night, 2 fractured ribs, won't be right pain wise for a month and is talking about driving car tomorrow:eek: told him we will drive him. Think things have caught up with me as i am worn out today, would have felt better if it had been dry enough to garden but was so fed up when i saw weather this morning i went back to bed for an hour when decluttered DS and DD to school. Relaxing now and trying to decide between finishing sock knitting or starting a small shawl scarf.:) Sticks and spoons and more hugs to all xLife is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away. – Hilary Cooper

Glad she finally remembered where you live.. and amazing how all the mean things she did to DD2 will have been pushed to the back of the mind and she missed her..

Evening all
Hugs to Neveah and DD, Mudbath and anyone else who could do with one.
Not a great start to the weekend here. When I got in from collecting DS2 I realised that I'd completely forgotten about a deadline at work. I then spent two hours getting it done instead of curling up with DS2 on the sofa and doing a HHC.
Anyway, the HHC may have to wait until tomorrow now as I spent too long reading the thread. There's a bottle of something waiting in the wings, along with my book (the last Skulduggery Pleasant). No more work today.
DS1 has missed the last two days of college. He struggles to get up in the morning (mixture of bad routines and difficulties sleeping). I went through a phase like that when I was at uni - not deliberately lying in /not getting up, just couldn't come round in the morning. Most days I still need 3 alarms now. I've given him a bit of advice and he's actually listening without flying off the handle. I'm going to get him an appointment at the doctor's, just to make sure, and I'll continue to advise with the drip-feed method. For starters, there will be no more ridiculously long lie-ins at the weekends.
I'll be back in the morning, unless anybody is joining me at the bar...;)

Yes, it did occur to me as well...but no, not after anything as far as I could see. And I did sneakily check her waistline, just in case she had a big surprise for me in under 9 months!
Hoping she will become a more regular visitor. Spent the time making fuss of the cat, who was delighted to see her, and chatting about college projects.
She mentioned that KH1 won't allow her a doorkey and will double lock the front door tonight to ensure that she doesn't leave the house for the weekend. That, I do believe, because he used to do that to me when DD was a baby - if he left the flat, I would be locked in with DD until he returned. Until she sees that as wrong, there's no point in wading in, though.
Perhaps the novelty of living with him is wearing off. Oh well, it's her lesson to learn. If she leaves there, she will have to get her own place.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll
