Lamewolf - does Mr LW fancy coming here and fitting some more doors? We have some lovely reclaimed ones that have been living in my kitchen for at least a year now.
:rotfl:I suspect if he never has to fit another door, it'll be too soon!:D

You could try bribing LW with dedicated dog time (in fact, you could always offer to let her take him home :p)
I could work on him though........:D:D:D

LadyL thanks for the heads-up re Mudbath; healing vibes on way.

Gotta dash - hungry man imminent!:D
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Well I survived the dentist and love the fact that I no longer have a gap in my teeth :T BUT one of my top front teeth is a weird colour and I asked if I could have it whitened but he said it wouldnt work as it is due to the tooth being dead on the inside (from when I head butted the kerb after a drunken night out!) so I have decided to have both front teeth veneered. This treatment isnt available on the NHS so have to do it privately so therefore I am going to get myself into £600 worth of extra debt!!! Not really debt as its an investment in me and I think im worth investing in even if nobody else does!!

After receiving the text from KH i decided i had better call him and tell him not to bother coming as kids arent off school till next week. He said that he doesnt now know if he can make it next week as his car is due an MOT on Wednesday and doesnt know if it will pass. Told him he could always come on the train to collect them to which he said "I cant afford that!!" Hummm shouldnt of jacked in your job then mate to move in with your younger model!! Its annoyed me that he knows his car wont pass an MOT so is therefore unroadworthy but was still coming for the kids to drive them over 150 miles!!! Just coz its got an MOT still left on it doesnt make it safe!! GGGGGGGgggrrrrrrrrrrrr

Anyway rant over better get the dishwasher loaded. Youngest son made apple crumble at school today which was lovely with some custard. Made a nice change as we dont normally do puddings.

    Hugs and spoons to all

    evening everyone

neveah how scary for you all - and what a shock. You are doing the right thing in sending the dog back to the breeder. Hope the stitches heal quickly.
Mudbath get well soon ~*~*healing vibes~*~* LL thanks for letting us know
valli boo to silly men who don't take bait! Pah!
LW and Mr LW hurrah for getting the doors finished!!!

been flying a bit today, think I managed to catch up on the week just about! I've even cleaned off the sides in the back porch - admittedly only so that I can put some daffodils in pots on there - but it looks better than it did. And tomorrow I'll do the floor in there. I've moved the rabbit & G pigs from their winter home in the greenhouse back outside on the grass, they looked so happy! So another job for tomorrow is tidying the greenhouse and getting it all ready for sowing seeds :D can't wait!! It's been a proper spring-like day here, & I do so love spring :D:D:D

have a good Friday night everyone (I know shysarah will!!)

5' 10" is supposed to be TALLER than me;)

made tea for the littleys well they're taller than me really and DS's GF
she's here a lot, I always offer to feed her but her mum refuses sometimes - seems rather silly - I feed whoever IS here without bothering - one of the advantages of being in sole charge - my house is an open house now *GRINS* but I suppose she feels I might think I'm being taken advantage of. Well I would rather know where the kids are

Got very little done today as inflammation going up again so very fatigued - but I've already learned that it just doesn't matter.
I did get a load of washing dried and put away
a flick around the sitting room and bathroom first thing
vacuumed the living room and hallway
picked up stuff from my DS's bedroom floor

A couple of points to share:
My sitting room has looked great ever since I started flying with you and has been easily maintained.

Today, I invited a friend for brunch on spec without a thought to how the house was - although my friends wouldn't care less, I would, so put off inviting friends round. As I become more housebound not seeing my friends easily has been one of the most difficult things to accept - as a group we are all very gregarious and regularly have mad days out and about with and without families - camp together, go to the theatre, climb hills - we even went for a scuba-diving lesson once to celebrate my birthday! Now I have my house under control I'm going to turn it into everyone's place to gravitate for coffee, meals, hysterical girly evenings etc.
