Thanks Lady L, Am sending lots of loving, healing vibes to Mudders xx

Neveah - sending hugs to you and your DD, a similar thing happened to my Goddaughter when she was 2. She is now 9 and totally over it so I hope your DD gets better over time.

Erm.. you have all been so nice so thanks very much for your lovely messages ref work. I intend to forget about it until next week so I can enjoy this weekend with Man and deal with it after. He is going to see if he can get over the weekend before I go back to give me some support too ... He is so sweet sometimes I wonder what I have done to deserve him.

Anyway, bags packed with his card, cute novelty socks and love tokens... (each has a value.. a hug, brekkie in bed, roll in the hay, kiss, massage) so with us being apart I thought it was something he could 'cash' in when we see each other..:rotfl: as long as he doesn't use them all at once.

Home is now tidy(ish) and will do for the weekend. I am now going to relax, crochet a bit and then have a long luxurious bath tonight before making the pack up for tomorrow. No way am I buying a sarnie on a train or a drink.. I got 2 bottles from the pound shop instead.. lol. (This is so unlike the old me you OS MSE's are certainly changing my thinking). My train leaves at 9.50 and gets in at around 2pm so will need some munchies.

Ok..have a fab weekend all and I shall be back Sunday eve/Monday morn depending on how tired I am.. :rotfl:

Love Hugs and Spoons (for today, tom and sun)
    Sarah xx

How did everyone get on in the HHC?

I only managed to get a couple of loads of washing put away and sent off my expense form. I'm a bit out of practise.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

neveah - huge hugs for you and your DD. What an awful thing to happen.

I have S&S'd the downstairs loo, cleaned the kitchen table, put the recycling out, put the WM on and prepped dinner.

Ladies, ladies! The way to do this (and get away with it) is to swap targets SO LIT you get the lowdown on Mr pjjjx and Pjjjx locks on mr LIT - get it? That way neither of you have any connection to the target and that's what'll make the crime harder to solve ;)

(I once disclosed this cunning plan to a cute, but not available bloke, who looked at me wide-eyed saying 'you've really thought this through':rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:)

    oh - bait got rejected - :o

onwards and upwards - as I overheard someone say this morning - see them clouuds (pointing upwards) well it's sunshine and blue sky above them

    and so it is.

I would like to do something on Friday to mark Diva's ceremony - too far to travel :( maybe we can re-light candles on Friday? Any other ideas?

Thanks for the e bay heads up Dusty (goes to photgraph curtains)

    Happy birthday Nattybirthday.gif

    Thanks for the standby girls...

the swapping thing was done in a film - possibly a Hitchcock? I only know because it turned up in a CSI (Vegas) - can't remember which series .......but it was a good one!

Have done all the laundry, changed DD1's bed ( afterwards she announced that Aunt Flo had arrived - had i known I might have left it a couple of days!). I have also booked to take both girls to see the Kings Speech tomorrow ( really looking forward to it - I have seen it but you can't have too much Colin Firth can you?)

I also spent some money on some hangers for my clothes in Lakeland - ( they were on 342 - so not too bad!:o) But having lost 2+stone I am beginning to take an interest in clothes again!:D.

At the moment we have a 4 door wardrobe - and all my stuff ( and some of the girls) is in 1 segment - OH has the rest........ I vow to alter this this year......

POSI - VIBES to all who need........

Lamewolf - does Mr LW fancy coming here and fitting some more doors? We have some lovely reclaimed ones that have been living in my kitchen for at least a year now.
You could try bribing LW with dedicated dog time (in fact, you could always offer to let her take him home :p)

Sorry to hear your news neveah. I hope DD recovers. Unfortunately it does sometimes happen, and is more common with working dogs if they're kept as family dogs (and with the boys than girls). Hopefully the breeder will find a suitable alternative for him and your DD won't develop a phobia - she'll know it was just that one and not expect every dog to be aggressive.

    Valli - lovely idea

Lots of vibes for mudbath. Thanks for passing the news on LL.

Suppose I should do some work :(

Huga and healing to Mudbath...get better soon sweetie. xxx

Neveah, aww how awful and scary and devastating for you and your daughter :( x

Well, TFI friday is all I can say, been a terrible week, unfortunately filled with loss, sadness and upsetting news.

First it was the news of Diva's passing, then a really good friend of ours lost his fight against cancer on thursday, his funeral is next saturday and my good friend at work, well her daughter was in a serious car accident last night...luckily she is alive and very battered and bruised but she was trapped in her overturned car for over 20 mins until she got herself out. She has had a very, very lucky escape and was fortunately able to flag down a passing motorist in the fog and dark. No-one would have spotted her car as it had gone down an embankment into a field.

So a very upsetting week all round.

But putting everything into perspective, lets just let everyone we care about know eh....you never know if that'll be the last conversation you may have with them. xxxx:kisses3::happylove:hello:

Now....I'm off to do some dancing...with a binbag of course.;)
