DMP have written to me asking me to reconsider not being with them. i have decided sadly that i will be going BR as I have stuggled last 4 years to pay my own an KH debts, in doing so I have paid DMP a fee and I will be in my late 70's before I am debt free so ,sadly, I am now saving for my fees.I am scared and need that final push to help me do it.

Very pleased as before 10 we were all up, dressed, beds all made, dishwasher emptied, dry washing put away, wet washing hanging up - fab for a weekend :j:j However, RANT ALERT - I'm working to keep the house looking nice so why oh why does DH insist on walking through with filthy muddy shoes? When I ask him he says it takes him a long time to take them off and it's a pain :mad:. Is vacuuming not a pain?:mad::mad::mad::mad: Grrrrrr

Sorry for rant by the way!

    Happy Birthday to Choccybix!

Love, hugs and spoons to all - have a fab day x

HHC turned into an hour. All glasses etc gathered up from a round the house. Curtains and windows opened. Washing up done, DW thoroughly cleaned, most of shopping put away. Flowers dealt with and in vases. Breakfast in progress.

Planning a lazy weekend, so hopefully will hoover and S&S throughout, do some batch cooking and meal planning, arrange my social life for the next few weeks, clear out my cake sample cupboard (6 month old cupcakes anyone :p) and maybe do some clearing of dead leaves etc in the garden if the weather improves.

Mr B "fixed" the mouse. Mouse is now not working again. I need to have "a discussion" with Mr B. If I can't go on the Forums that's one thing. If I can't do my on-line banking that's unforgiveable!

I fear I will forget folks - and probably mess up their names (again) but here goes

Neaveah - so sorry to hear about your dog. Hope DD is doing OK. Really pleased that the breeder was responsible enough to take back the dog.

LW - I'm now on the lookout for a harness for your wheelchair so that you can have a go at CaniX. :) Far too energetic for me I fear.

    Happy birthdays Natty and Choccybix

Shysarah - chuffed to bits to hear you are fit enough to do a staged return to work. Hope the weekend's a good'un.

ubamother - that was such a lovely positive post - great news

Had a bit of a rough day at work yesterday - things which had been going on which I had been fretting about for quite a few months, obviously came to a head in my mind, and I found myself breaking down in a meeting with my boss. So DH was on more than dodgy ground last night when he failed to help out with anything. SIL is ringing me later - I'm hoping she will help me work out how to tackle this. And to top it all I had a dream this morning when I went to shout at Mr B about how I felt and no matter how much I tried to shout, all I could manage was a tiny whisper. Maybe that's significant!

I am mainly going to be defrosting my chest freezer today - I was hoping for better weather, but needs must, and I really need to do it this weekend, so I can start refilling it ready for something I'm involved in next month. That and I'm thinking of seeing if I can find the bottom of the ironing pile.
    Work is not my Hobby
  • Morning all

Discovered that the hotel didn't have free wi-fi and much as I love you all I wasn't about to pay £12 for access.
However went for an explore this morning and found a *bucks :T
Have skimmed through the pages so sorry if I have missed anyone

Triker hugs and thanks for reminding us about what matters
Lady-L please pass healing vibes and love to mudders.
Shysarah hope you have a super weekend, don't forget when you go back to work there will be a rota of flyladies standing at your shoulder to support you.

Thanks for all the good wishes - journey was fine and hotel is OK - once they transferred me to a room which had been cleaned after the last guest :rotfl:

I have travelled on my own to meet others but this is the first time I have been away completely on my own - and to a city I didn't know and I am 'uncomfortable' about new situations. Right now I am feeling rather proud of myself:o Maybe I have finally grown-up.

Anyway compared to what others deal with I am being a right wimp.

Now off to window shop before my tutorial.

    Love and hugs to all.
  • Morning - hope you're all OK

Grey and wet again today - think I'm going to have to dig out exercise DVDs:cool: When I was younger, Jane Fonda's Go For the Burn and that woman who was on early morning telly were all the rage and I remember having a conversation with my friends about how ridiculous (if not dangerous) it must be to have housewives leaping about in their living rooms in front of the TV - so !!!!!! happened?!?:rotfl:

So today, Malcolm, I will be...having breakfast / feeding the cats / lighting fire / finishing mag listings and ads / watching DSs play football / multitasking by listening to the Boro match on the radio and photographing stuff for ebay!!

List looks like this - I'll finish that tomorrow

Thursday ~ Bathroom, Study and Stairs!
    Level Two
Wipe keyboard/monitor etc - want to do all the screens today

    Extras

Catch up relevant phonecalls Mum, Dad

Next is [STRIKE]breakfast for me and DS2[/STRIKE], then a HHC [STRIKE]and a bit extra for maintenance[/STRIKE] (took a while, as I've S&Sed previously cleaned stuff, done DW, put recycling + rubbish out) [STRIKE]before turfing DS1 out of his pit [/STRIKE]([STRIKE]WIP-[/STRIKE]his breakfast has been waiting for 25 minutes!).

Plans after that in no particular order:
    bath
budget - can't do, as diary with budget details is in workbag - at work!
food shopping (need to decide where we are going)
    plastic recycling
school stuff - to-do list first so I can prioritise
    DS2 homework
phone restaurant in Germany for quote
    tea
laundry WIP - on WMx2 and TDx1 now
