Okay, paintwork on the stairs scrubbed - it actually looks alright. The paint on the walls cannot be scrubbed and it needs it. If I wipe at it the very thin layer of beige comes off and I can see terracotta! I hate living in rented accomadation. I can clean as much as I like (or don't like) but it really needs a good lick of paint. Everywhere. As we need to move it hardly seems to be worth investing the time and effort. Although we have needed to move for the last 5 years it still hasn't happened. Renting is so expensive. Bugbear for me as it is so dissatisfying.

[STRIKE]breakfast for me and DS2[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]a HHC[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]and a bit extra for maintenance[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]before turfing DS1 out of his pit [/STRIKE] Bits I've decluttered and cleaned are still sparkly (even if it's a small percentage of the whole WIP) and the kitchen is another HHC further towards being acceptable.

Plans after that in no particular order:
    bath
budget - can't, as diary with budget details is in workbag - at work!
food shopping (need to decide where we are going)
    plastic recycling
school stuff - to-do list first so I can prioritise
    DS2 homework
phone restaurant in Germany for quote
    tea
laundry WIP - on WMx2 and TDx1 now
  • Aunty well done for going it alone - I hope you have a great break and enjoy the tutorials as well.

If it's not the filter, nor the bag, the next suspect is the hose.

Something may be caught in the 'ribs', IYKWIM

best washed out in the bath with some WM powder and / or vinegar and bicarb. Rinsed well and hung up to dry on the line or down the stair bannnister with a bucket at the bottom to catch drips.

Does that make sense ? :o
