  • My ex is a number 1 Prat (Wanted to use another term but thought was abit too explicit for the board lol) He has no intentions of getting a job to provide for his children...this is what he told me... BUT is under the impression that coz his partner works he will have to still pay maintenance worked out on the household income. My way of thinking is why on earth would anyone who has kids go to work to provide for her own children and be expected to pay for lazy gits children as well!! Either she is not right in the head or is blinkered. If I had a partner who sat at home all day and expected me to pay money for his children then im sorry but he would be told to sling his hook.Mind you she is only 23 so I am assuming she does live in cloud cuckoo land.

Many years ago my DH's non working XW had a live in boyfriend who decided not to work because DH was paying so much money he had no need to. I had to work full time with a 6 and 3 year old to provide enough money for our family. Nearly 75% of DH's take home pay was supporting his ex, their 2 children together and the lazy BF.

It's a very difficult decision. You as the 2nd wife get no benefits because the government agencies see that your partner is working full time and take no consideration to the fact that all his money is going elsewhere. You have to work or else you starve.

    Happy birthday Choccybix!

How did DH's first week in his new job go JulieJim?

The Anne Summers party was a very tame affair last night. Very disconcerting as there were some of DD1's friend's there and they knew more than me:o.

My recently healed broken hand is swollen again. Something went ping in it yesterday and it's stiff and painful again.

DH is cleaning the insides of the vehicles. I'm tackling the washing mountain. The ironing hill is much diminished.

The sun is shining so I'm going to put some washing on the line - first time since October.

go and get it looked at asap... You don't want to end up with more problems.

Sun shining here too, but I appear to have run out of energy and am back in bed. Hopefully tomorrow will be more successful.:(
