This is not medical advice. What sort of cough is it vanilla? Two of mine had whooping cough about 10 years ago. GPs don't always recognise it unless they hear it (I managed to get an OOH GP to hear it on the phone) especially as to many it is an old disease since vaccinations. If at the end of the coughing they make a whoop (like a noisy sharp intake of breath) and then often up chuck it could be worth checking with your GP.

It's like he's trying to clear his chest, i heard him rattling on thursday night but that dissappeared friday morning and by last night when he was sleeping he started coughing again (in his sleep)and it would have been a shape intake of breath, he coughed that much he was sick. He seems to take the coughing fits more at night when he's lying down, he's fine when sitting. :( I'll have to take him back in again monday now anyway as i didn't put the lid on right on his antibiotic this morning, so when i shock it for his next dose half went over me. :o:doh:

Filled the dw this morning put the tablet in but forgot to turn the silly thing on. Hubby looked after the kids and i went back to bed but woke to find dirty dishes (i see a pattern here today :rotfl:) so dw now on, wm now on as well as td. Lunch done and Rhys away for a nap. Hubby can now light the fire and i'll get the livingroom back to looking normal. Kids are gonna be made to help today aswell. :D
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

My house is one big hot spot. Where do I start??

That's where I was this week. I try to do a HHC or 2x15min every day, just decluttering and cleaning, as well as the most urgent dailies and keeping the bits already done clean and tidy. I just pick any spot (have divided the HHC between kitchen and bathroom most days), based on what I fancy or what's really bugging me. It's not a quick solution, but it's all I've got time (and energy) for. I try to take every day as it comes and not let it bother me if I sometimes don't manage to HHC. I suspect it's much like AnWs dot-to-dotting.

Well I've mealplanned for every meal and snack this week (doing my own adaptation of the special K personal plan thing as the meals on there are too much to prepare or aren't suitable). It's taken me ages!

I'm off to now do the food shop to buy all of the ingredients needed for said plan.

We have nice weather here today, so want to get out into it, as I know that tomorrow is due to be rubbish again.

Happy birthday to choccybix. Hope you have nice weather there too.

does anyone have any ideas to solve the problem of my hoover smelling? the filter is clean and ive changed the bag but it still stinks the house out when i use it(its a henry btw)

I find shake in vac works because it still smells when using my Henry, you can also buy airfreshners that go in your hoover.

That only masks the problem, doesn't solve it.

You need to find out why?

    Usually something silly anyway.
