  • reasonably productive half hour, would have been more so had baby decided to play fair!

    so, I :

    Gave baby his bottle
put on pasta for baby's tea
portioned up mince to cool for freezing
    cleared and disinfected worktops
washed up a side of dishes

Think I'll need to do another HHC tonight but won't be until later when baby is either playing happy or in bed.

In my HHC I brought in and folded down 2 loads of washing, wm on again, washed up, decluttered hot spot of paperwork in kitchen, updated spreadsheets and my GC signature. Oh and picked up a few swords, why do we have so many swords and shields?

I think the kitchen floor will need cleaning tonight, and I have a date with the iron. I may even manage some knitting or reading. Off to find DS1 to teach him to cook.;)
  • have attacked the garage
Me and DH went in, removed everything, SWEPT UP!!
then boxed labeled and put back. recycle pile, tip pile and room to get in and out :D

Have a few sort out boxes to deal with :)

Apparently we'd bought storage boxes with the intention of sorting it all out, but they take up more room if you dont put anything in them :wall:
    Quite impressed with us :)

Only problem is that wheelie's more than half full with our sorting and bin day's a week thursday :(
"I know that Prince Charming doesn’t come save me, we save each other and fight back to back against all comers that’s what marriage is to me. Nothing passive, no being carried off on a white steed, give me my own damn horse and lets ride into the sunset side by side." - Laurell K. Hamilton.
  • Started my HHC at 2.15 and only just stopped!

    Tea made & on.
    Washing twizzled.
    Bits up into loft.
An hours sorting in the loft - DH came up, so I said "what's that..."
Came down with several years of stuff to shred (maybe tonight), millions of old labels to throw away, old NCT (pre 2000 :o) accounts to dispose of, lots of boxes for items we no longer have, a few treasures to Ebay, sorted quickly the storage shelves and hey presto we have a much clearer space!
An hour opening & sorting said bits into piles.
Recycling in the car with rubbish to drop off early tomorrow (too much for bin collection :o:o)

For once feel we've had a productive afternoon..

    Moam
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

    Still to do
[STRIKE]Wash car windows and top up screenwash[/STRIKE]
    make and bake scones
Order a couple of things from T+M using e vouchers

Tea made - lasagne ready to bake in the oven shortly as I'm a bit peckish now

Car windows cleaned as couldn't hardly see through them last week and screenwash all topped up

Washing brought in and no drier than when it went out this morning so most of it is drying around the house and one lot in TD (sofa throw - no where to dry it inside)

Tomorrow is a nice chilled day with this lot to do
    kitchen to finish off
    Make scones
    WM x 1 or 2
    Lots of reading and studying

Had a great day today ticking off lots of things off my list of things to do, felt happier today for some reason which is nice :D

Enjoying the rugby this afternoon and evening so off I go to see if Scotland can stage a come back after England's showpiece of a game this afternoon

Went with DD to look at a cookers and managed to find one I liked. I use a local family firm thats been established for years. They will wire it in plus take the old one away. I also got quite a bit knocked off the price so I am a happy bunny.

Have made soup so just decluttered some of that. Washing machine on just waiting for that to finish and will get the bedding on the airers.
