  • DD1 told KH2 that I was looking for a job overseas when he stopped bothering to see DD2. Nothing to do with me, she was angry that he wasn't there for her, when her own KH father turned up week in, week out without fail and went to all the shows, plays and parents' evenings.

As we had already had the conversation in which he was told that as he had refused parental responsibility (by throwing the papers in my face in their folder and telling me to **** off you stupid demented retard b****, why the **** would I need a piece of paper to tell you how my daughter is brought up? We hadn't spilt up at that point, either) he was in no position to dictate anything to me ever again -

miraculously, he started becoming more reliable.

    morning all:hello:

landing was done last night following DH making a mess shaving a bit off the bathroom door...............and then leaving all the shavings all over the landing:wall:still the door is back on the bathroom and to encourage him I told him he did a good job, even though we only have half the screws back in the hinges, thats was just incase he needed to make more adjustments:think:

bedroom will be a dot to dot today, too many hotspots

Did anyone see CSI last night? very good explanation of hoarding, also made me feel good, at least my house doesn't look like that, erm.....just the craft room:rotfl:

off to start the day with coffee and breakfast, then dailies.

    Pigpen - words fail me!

shellysue - I agree CSI was brill - very interesting the pathology of hoarding...

There are still days when DD2 likes to have me in the same room for her homework ............. and she is 17!

I honestly enjoy her company though - and she's out far more than she used to be!

DD2 had a row with the Sociology teacher the other day - he said charity was wrong and she countered with a well thought out argument. He didn't like that and got really angry - apparently they are not encouraged to disagree with him!!!! (!!!!!!?)

And the photography teacher pointed out a spelling mistake in DD2's coursework:-

    'You've spelled lines wrong.'
    'No I haven't!'
'Yes you have - you've put a cross through the L'
    'It doesn't say lines.....'

The picture is of a fork - and the word is tine (meaning prong on fork!)

Didn't get as much done yesterday as I'd like as DSis came round to look for wedding dresses online for her. Had a lovely girly chat and both DS & DNiece were fast asleep for ages so we weren't playing mummy's at the same time.

I would like to get the kitchen extras done at some point as they do need doing. Don't know how much we'll get done today as we have to walk to play group at DS's nap time & last time I had him in the bedroom when I stripped the bed he fell off the bed & ended up in A&E.

    Morning all,
Hugs to all who need them.
Back not good at all today (damn this damp weather!), so not even attempting to do a list!
I hope to get to supermarket, for last (small) shop of this month, and put dry laundry away/on to ironing pile, and make spanish omelette for dinner. Other than that I doubt I will get much done.
    xx OS

After a veeerry long absence, I've decided to rejoin. I realise it's Wednesday but I have been doing some bits on the list. I'm probably a good day behind though and will be slowly catching up.

I'm currently at Uni and the plan was that the kinders would pick up some of the cleaning. I did have cleaners for a couple of months but they cost too much in the end.
Anyway the kinders idea of clean and mine seem quite different so I'm planning on picking the main stuff up again and fitting it in around my time at Uni. It should be possible...people manage this working full time!!

Not sure I'll manage to keep up with all the chat, but that doesn't mean that I'm not thinking about you all and wanting the very best for you...x
  • Rightio,
Was just hanging on on step 1. Then had visitors for most of a fortnight and all fell apart. I must get back on the first rung of the ladder. I shall try to do a major overhaul today - and then lie down in a darkened room when my back and knees give out.
I love having the family visit - but my time is then completely taken up with cooking, washing up and washing, no time for flying apart from bleaching toilets and wiping down wash basins!!
Regards to all, I'm determined to fly, Silver x
