Congratulations Poohbear. We knew you could do it.

Think I may have been slightly too enthusiastic in deciding to clean all my kitchen cupboard doors as I ended up flinging myself off the step ladder and bashing various parts of my anatomy on the way down to the floor. I've resorted to the arnica!

So apart from my dailies, I have ended up with 14 our of 20 kitchen cupboard doors looking cleaner ...... which just makes the others look skankier. and three cake tins restored to use - but another 15 to check through. Can't let a few bruises stand in my way tomorrow though.

Oh, AND I broke a knob off the cooker when I fell, so that'll be an expense.

Mouse still not fixed. Nicking Mr B's PC again.

I am seething.. CF (oh yes!) brought the children back @ 8:30 (bedtime is 7pm) and TOLD me he is going on holiday half term week.. so OH is now upset as we were taking the baby to his parents. so by the time we can next get there (first weekend in March) it will have been 6 weeks since they saw her again..

Apparently DS1 has had a go at DD1 for not wanting to go to CF's.. He has been told to ask them all why they don't want to go.

Oh, and to pee me off further this weekend is the only weekend I'll have without the children this month and DS1 is having Jacob stay here...

I WANT SOME !!!!ING TIME OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I could just cry.. so.. DD1 is pee'd off with DS1, I am really angry, OH is upset as obviously his family want to see Freja and I am just so fed up of living my life around everyone else.

I really dislike being angry it makes my head hurt.

it was only when they tried to get me to sign a consent form for afterschool tutition that i kindly pointed out that he is perfectly capable of reading his yu-gi-ho cards and computer games, they realised it was an attention seeking ploy, he was simply playing dumb because he liked the teacher and she gave the struggling kids extra time.

Little ones problem is he is a little bit lazy. He purposely failed his spelling tests we have discovered so he stayed in the bottom group with the easy words... insert rolleyes smilie here! The thing is he is a year ahead in his reading, but a year behind in his spelling - go figure! That said, his spelling words this week are things like precipitation, pollution, atmosphere, hurricane - I dont remember getting words like that when I was 8! However - yes I have to sit and go through it and discuss it all and play hangman etc, to make sure the actual spellings are going in.

I knew youd love me... I havent updated my list yet toots, but Ive done good honest - Im back at work tomorrow so have done all the manky mouldy jobs which have been appearing all over the house which I never get round to when Im working.

Only have a patch in S's room which I couldnt get to as I couldnt move the chest of drawers on my own.

Have pottered tonight, done a bit of filing and looked out so more recipes to use up some more of my store cupboard contents with treats for littleys lunch boxes.

So not entirely a wasted few days

Anyway, whatever it stands for - I know who it is and he is seriously is a C and an F and I am sure he does this to you on purpose for maximum impact, although what he gets out of it remains unknown. w@ nk3r

If DS is home, can he look after littleys so you and OH can pop to his mum and dads, maybe for one night? And if Jacob is round at your house then DS will need to deal with that - have your weekend off!!!

Or is that not a possibility?

An extremely rude c word and 'face'.. That I wouldn't dream of using unless it was very very much deserved!

I don't feel I can leave the brood with DS1 and DD1, maybe I am doing them an injustice as DS1 did offer to have them one night so we could go visit OHs parents. I don't feel they are responsible enough... or mature enough. looking after 6 of them is hard work.. I had to remind him to fed Jacob last weekend.. how can I leave my lot all weekend?

I might be ok leaving the older ones.. but not the 3 littlies.. and taking them with us isn't really an option.

I feel like it is my fault OH cann't go to his parents (he doesn't want to go without the baby) and I feel bad for wanting time off from this lot.. this is the 7th holiday CF has been on in the 2 years since he left.. h took the children for a few days last summer and OH and I have been nowhere other than his parents.

I do everything.. the hospital appointments, the school runs, the bathing and the laundry and the homework and everything.. and I keep OH from his family.. and CF doesn't want to spend time with them and doesn't talk to them yet gets to take them to the cinema and the park and holidays and fairs and I want to punch his prematurely old wrinkly miserable ugly face and scream, why does he hate the children so much he cannot bear to spend time with them? He didn't even ask if Moomin was ok after her day in hospital.. just snapped at me what it was for.. not a word about results or her or anything

I am so sad for the children, they must feel so unwanted. I am angry on their behalf and I am tired of having no time for anything.

I am also whinging and am aware of it.. it has been a very long long day and to be told I have half term without a break has pretty much done me in.

Finally finished the report I needed to write and of course it did not take nearly as long as I thought it would.

Really must do some flying tomorrow. I've done 2 loads of DH clothes since he has been home and I'm about to set the washer again so that will be most of it done.

Hoping DS3 is ok in the morning for his brass day.

These are the problems I have with DHD (DHeadDAD) - I was really upset about it at weekend as LO's birthday is approaching and last year it was really really hard. Why doesnt he love him enough to give a hoot about him? Why does he never ask me how he is or even call him at christmas, never mind send a gift?

I am the one person who is least able to offer any advice as I have all the same questions that you do, but when they are older, I am hoping that my little one realises who was the one who was there all the times that really mattered and not just the fair-weathered parent with the cinema ticket.

I am also whinging and am aware of it.. it has been a very long long day and to be told I have half term without a break has pretty much done me in. You are perfectly entitled to have a good old whinge about the hand you are being dealt at the minute pet. Couldnt you reconsider a plan for DD1 and DS1 to look after the kids.... sounds like even a night away would do you the world of good

I am irritating myself moaning.. I don't moan this much really.. I just have a rant and maybe stew a bit and rant some more.. for that I am sorry.

The baby is still breastfed and only has 1 meal of slop a day so taking her anywhere away from me is limited to an hour or so.. I usually manage my nail appointment without her now she is bigger.

Does your KH seem to dump things on you last minute? Such 'I can't do the thing I have been saying I will for weeks so you have 15 minutes notice to do it' and being told 2 weeks in advance that I can't do what I have had planned for weeks as his plans 'over-rule' mine.. I am really upset that OH is upset we can't visit his family when he has told them we will be going then.

I really wouldn't feel happy leaving them all with DS1 and DD1. I am sure they would be fine.. but they'd trash the house, shout and yell and possibly murder DS3 and/or DD3

KH has definetly gone up a level, poor kiddies, they know you and OH love them, (even if you don't like them all the time).
