Well I did bed change and mattress hoover yesterday because we had blue skies and sunshine! Bedding washed, dried, ironed and put away yesterday!

Today I have a load of ironing to put away - can't start yet cos peeps are still in bed.

So I'll make a start on clearing the ironing hillock ( yes times have really changed in yorkie towers!) and when peeps are awake I will hoover the lounge again (DD1 has visitor today) and put some ironing away!

Good news - not only did I declutter 3.5 pounds at Slimming World last night ( I was dead chuffed!) I also won the weekly raffle. For 2X50p strips of raffle ticketsI won a copy of the magazine and all the ingredients to one of the meals in it!!!! Included in my win were 2 steaks, parma ham and some asparagus.........

Morning Flyers, not caught up with thread yet.

I am such a lucky lady!!! I spent 10yrs with the biggest bully in the world, luckily found the strength to tell him where to go. Yep done that, that's why my house is my sanctuary, feeling safe in your own home is better than any lottery win, i too found the most wonderful man in the world.
Tightfisted would have resulted in the entire oven body, becoming live within the next 3 - 6 months. OMG:eek:
    Toots thankyou
    Mrs B gentle hugs
Pigpen CFUnbelievable to$$er, Don't know if it's doable but could OH mum and dad come up to you and stay at a travel lodge, would it cost the same as the petrol cost you would have spent to get there, sorry if it's not a good idea, just trying to think of a way round this. Just thank god you are no longer with CF and have a lovely OH. You might not be feeling it but remember the best revenge is to be happy. Hugs and i think you deserve a rant. We all think you are fab on here and do a fantastic job.
    Flying wise
DGC landed and given breakfast, WM emptied TD on, DW stacked, will strip bed and dust when OH comes home from morning shift. Will do daily's today as apart from the kitchen these seem to be slipping. Hugs and spoons and sticks to all.

Pigpen - words fail me. Sending you a strong cup of tea.

DH is doing the school run. 3rd morning this week.:j His boss is away so he's taking some of the hundreds of unpaid overtime hours back. Having said that he is away tonight and won't be back until Friday evening .

Black car is going in for it's first MOT at 11 at the place round the corner from where I work. This is the car with the 6.5K new engine and the 2.7K new turbo. It had better pass as it's the most expensive car in the known universe.

Better get dressed and tackle the list.

Hope everyone has a good day x

All my morning dailies done with half an hour to spare on my personal timetable!
Rain due putting a stop on more washing and outside extras...but I see the light at the end of the tunnel there for this week too....the pile is less than half the size it was. Need to really scrub my window frames today, looing forward to making progress there.

Also, I'm thinking of painting our hallway in the next few weeks. It will be being done in a couple of years, but a coat of white till then would really buck me up and shouldn't cost a lot....worth doing?

    Hi everyone

I'm back in today - not really tackling a list, but doing loads of household jobs which need attention. So I'm aiming for lots of x2HHCs to get me cracking on things....

Was thinking of starting with the dailies and a bit of cooking at 9:15am onwards: anyone like to join me?

    MissH

p.s. Piggers: my sister's KH used to do this, too. It was devastating for her - she used to rely on the respite that was dangled in front of her, and when it vanished, it just broke her down. Please don't feel bad for venting.
  • You rant away if it helps piggers. Sorry things didn't work out for DS1, but I hope he isn't going to make things more difficult with the older ones who don't want to visit KH.
Tightfisted - Glad the HA are moving to check the other houses.
House not looking too bad - just as well as my get-up-and-go has got-up-and-gone. I want spring (stamps foot).

Off into town, got a book to collect from library, money from bank (English notes) Start throwing things at suitcase - NB I am only away for one night and hotels do provide toiletries nowadays :rotfl:Need to find out what study books I need to take.

    Morning all..

Hope your all ok this fine morning. I was up and out of bed by 8am so am feeling quite happy this morning. With my up n down sleep this is a positive start. Am taking mum into town at 10,30 as she wants some new clothes plus I need a couple of bits for my weekend away.

Done well so far, sorted the clothes from the dryer and put those all away. Had a quick whip round the bedroom with my binbags and had a couple of cups of coffee.

    Ok..listy..

    Morning all

DS3 woke up at 6am with a sore throat and full of cold but is dosed up and gone to brass day, he so didn't want to miss it and it is only 20 minutes away if we need to collect him. DH working from home so he can come to the concert later.

Just going to hoover everywhere I can before heading out with DS1 on the great golf shoe hunt.
