I need to really clamp down on my 11 year old. Those american shows where they want to be a singer or an actress, so cheesy!!
We will allow tv too, but only once the stuff is all got out ready and there has been a half hour tidy up done of the bedroom, as getting the stuff out = mess, haha.Trying to shift that debt!0 -
Have had alot going on recently and trouble with my PC so not been able to log in to my diary... have missed it, it does help me to try and focus on becoming debt free.
Have spent the morning catching up on the chores i left from the weekend, now have a tidy house, clean bathroom and wardrobes full of ironed clothes, the dog had a good run & my on line shopping was delivered
Have popped a cheap cut of lamb shoulder in the slow cooker with can of tomatoes, sliced onion, cinamon and stock. It will cook all day and will serve it with potatoes and veg.
Checked my Next account and the balance is about £300, but i have about £11 interest too so need to clear that as my CC debts are interest free at the moment.
Need to now clean out the chicken run before collecting the DC from school, hope it stays dry as there are some black clouds looming !05/03/14 £15,980 0n 2 CCs

I am feeling rather proud of myself, been very organised and prepared 3 meals to freeze once they have cooled: Cottage pie, Spag bol & Fish pie. I am working the next couple of nights, so by having the dinners sorted it will stop me from going to the shops and spending money on ready meals.
I need to look into doing some extra shifts as i am paying the minimum on the debts & not noticing them decreasing. It does get tedious having to constantly be careful with money but at least i am not getting myself into more debt. I need to think about some cash for Christmas too, that will be here before we know it !!05/03/14 £15,980 0n 2 CCs

 I hope it is sunny where you are, glorious here- an indian summer. Took the dog on a long walk, have tried to blow away the cobwebs as been feeling under the weather lately & a bit out of sorts.
Moneywise- not going so good, have had to pay out on things i had not planned for and my spare cash has gone. I am up to date on my repayments but only manage the minimum. I am in work tonight & tomorrow so will offer to do some extra shifts.
DC have asked for salad for tea, easy enough and all the bits already in the fridge so no dash to shops needed.05/03/14 £15,980 0n 2 CCs

Have had a few hours sleep following my nightshift but it is so hot i cannot sleep any longer!! In work again tonight so will potter about & try to nap later.
Was chatting with some colleagues about money last night (nobody knows about my debts) and they all were saying that money is tight and they struggle. Nobody actually voiced if they were in debt but it made me wonder. My DH & aunty know i am in debt but my own sister does not, i suppose i keep it some guilty secret as i am ashamed . However, look how many of us are on this fab forum sharing our debts.........05/03/14 £15,980 0n 2 CCs
