Worked last night but could not sleep much as neighbours are having their drive resurfaced, tried to sleep in DD bedroom but could not get off to sleep, so got up and blitzed the house!!
Bought a spray bottle of white vinegar from Wilkinsons (99p) and it has got the bathroom gleaming a treat, does smell like a chip shop for a while :rotfl: but smell soon went with the window open.
Received DD dance invoice through the post £30, i need to write these things on the calendar so i can account for them and they do not come as a huge suprise to me, also forgot to pay DS basketball club payments, need to get organised.
So glad i threw a chili into the slow cooker this morning after the school run, i use chunks of braising steak and the DC devoured it with baked spuds, crusty bread. Do adore my slow cooker, makes life a little simpler, maybe i am organised afterall !05/03/14 £15,980 0n 2 CCs

I cannot decide whether to bank my savings of £2 coins or to continue putting them away, i could put them towards my OD or keep forgetting about them and watch them grow in my jar???!!!
I had intended to try to put away £10 each week, just to help towards Christmas or just to save but this has not happened as i never have enough cash to spare!
Today i have had to fill the car with diesel (no good ignoring the fuel dial showing empty anymore!) , get the chooks their layer pellets and buy DD friend a birthday present as she has a party on Saturday.... Hope that tomorrow a LSD.05/03/14 £15,980 0n 2 CCs

Having a quick cuppa before going to my aunts house for a BBQ, it a little on the windy side but dry so should be nice, give the DC a chance to catch up with the other kids too.
Did a little housework this morning and the usual ferrying the DD to her dance class and DS to yet another birthday party!
Doing an extra shift at work on Tuesday in preparation of the school hols, always need a bit of extra cash to entertain the DC.05/03/14 £15,980 0n 2 CCs

Still soaked to the bone, walked the dog to fetch DC from school and well, the heavens opened !!! Looked a right state, (complete with streaks of mascara down my cheeks
) by the time i reached the school gates, but managed to look amused by it all and ignore the smirks of the yummy mummies with their matching rain coats & umberellas !!!
Have warmed the DC up with mugs of hot chocolate and i am on my 2nd brew, the hound is still wet and the smell of wet dog lingering is not an attractive one.

Had a great day on my own today, was so glad the DC were back to school after half term as they spent the entire week arguing  They seem to hate each other at the moment and i am sick of nagging at them to stop bickering.
Did spend alot last week but knew i would, we had a family BBQ on Saturday (has been years since we hosted one) it was great fun and although we spent alot i did make the burgers and chicken kebabs so that kept the cost of meat down.
Stripped the beds this morning and blitzed the kids rooms so now looking much better.05/03/14 £15,980 0n 2 CCs

It reassuring to know my DC are not the only ones to fight with each other as some days it really makes me wonder if i have took a wrong turn in this parenting thing !!
Have had a huge spring clean today, really proud of myself as have got so much done, however, could not bear to cash out on new vacum bags (miele- sooo expensive) so put on my marigolds and started emptying it with my fingers  How did my life come to this ??05/03/14 £15,980 0n 2 CCs
