    Welcome to the newbies. :)

Does anyone know when you get the results of your first blood tests? The phlebotomist at the doctors surgery did mine so I don't know if I'll get the results at my next midwife appointment or whether I phone up for them?

Generally no news is good news so dont worry if you dont hear anything. Generally you get the results at your next midwife appointment, unless there is a problem.
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Hello everyone. All going ok here. Have been reading every day but not posting much. I have my 6 week scan next week, so nervous about that. Does anyone know when you generally start to show? I know it is way too early now, I am only 6 + 3. I am so bloated though that I have a bigger tummy! Was just wondering when i can look forward to getting a proper bump to show off?

Congratulations morocha - yes cramping is one of the first symptoms other than increased discharge that I experienced - the uterus does a huge amount of stretching in the first few months so cramping on and off is usually caused by ligaments being stretched. If you get cramping accompanied by spotting or bleeding or you get a pain in the tip of your shoulder, please get checked out though.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

Hi Walby - lets hope that we make it all the way through a week apart! How did you tell your OH?

Hi Aida - I remember you well from ttc - hope that you manage to keep that pma up till your scan.

Is it normal to keep looking at the digi to see if it's real?!

Hi Zcrat  I did it while DH was in the shower and just went "Oh my God", he pretty much guessed from that lol After I did the digi and it came up 3+ weeks (I thought I wasn't due AF for at least another week, but obviously cycles are messed up after mc) I burst into tears. DH hugged me and said to me "I thought this is what you wanted" lol I told him I was happy but just totally shocked and overwhelmed - he still looked a bit scared lol

My digi only displays the result for 24hours but I do keep looking at the cheapie! Aida, I never thought about retesting - cue buying tests every couple of weeks :rotfl:

Thank you ! i did not have any of this with my DD, i think i am ill for some serious morning sickness ahead of me. I am so bloated, just so strange a week ago people were telling me how slim i look, i suddenly look like i have gain a whole size this week, and i know it has nothing to do with baby yet ! i had a bump, a tiny and cute one around 20 weeks, not before first time around.

I'm so sorry to hear about your mc Rups. I hope this time is our time to have healthy babies at the end of these pregnancies. I can understand how hard it is to be positive and also not to be anxious but if you tell yourself that everything is alright, one day you will start to believe it. I do that every day and also I try to enjoy this pregnancy. It's hard but not impossible.

Have fun tomorrow :D. I had my first MW appointment last week and it went all ok. I was asked a lots of questions and I was given a bag with all sort of [STRIKE]crap[/STRIKE] pregnancy related information :D.
    My MW was really nice.

PS: Tomorrow we'll be closer by a day to our littlebaby-2.gif.

    Have a nice week everyone!
