    Thank you everyone. :)

I'm going to migrate to the "12 to 24 week pregnancy" thread now, but I'll keep checking back here to see how people are doing. :)

Hello there, can I join you guys?!

feel a bit of a fraud on here (I wouldn't let myself look till I got a BFP!) but I had a positive on a digi yesterday saying 2 - 3 weeks!!!!!

It's my first ever BFP and I'm so excited! I know that a lot can happen, especially in the next 10 weeks but it is nice to know that everythings in working order so to speak!

Lovely to see a few names I recognise on here from the trying thread. I was telling OH last night I'd get to graduate threads and it reminded me of being at school where you got so excited to go up a year.

Congrats zcrat! We aren't that far apart dates-wise then - I did a digi on Thursday and it said 3+ so we must only be about a week apart!

Hi (she waives more nervously than when she joined the TTC thread)

6 weeks ago I got my BFP and it took me that long to get the courage to post on this thread. It sounds so stupid especially because we all wanted to graduate from TTC thread but this thread is way more scary and emotional than other ones.

My 12 weeks scan is booked for 15th June and I'm looking forward as at least then I will know if this is our forever baby (I had a m/c a month before this pregnancy).

I met my midwife 2 weeks ago and also had my blood test done so now I'm just waiting for my scan.

Not much to say about me. I just try to be as positive as possible although sometimes is hard. Also I can't complain of anything as I'm really grateful that I'm still pregnant.

    Welcome to the newbies. :)

Does anyone know when you get the results of your first blood tests? The phlebotomist at the doctors surgery did mine so I don't know if I'll get the results at my next midwife appointment or whether I phone up for them?

Hi Walby - lets hope that we make it all the way through a week apart! How did you tell your OH?

Hi Aida - I remember you well from ttc - hope that you manage to keep that pma up till your scan.

Is it normal to keep looking at the digi to see if it's real?!

They need to be stuck in your maternity notes so will probably go to your midwife hun.
You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Glad to see you here Zcrat :j.

It's totally normal to keep looking at you BFP even after 6 weeks...like me :D. Also, I used to test every 2 days just to be sure I was still pregnant :rotfl:. Still, that is normal as well :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:!

    - I've been told that the blood results will be send to the midwife...but not sure if I will get a copy as well.

Yep. My first set were taken at booking in and then after my scan the midwife at antenatal had phoned for them (but two outstanding) and they went into my notes. She took more blood for the 2nd half of the down's test and said that would be posted/phoned to me.
