If the smell is offensive then go see the doctor Rups as it could be thrush or some other infection which can be easily treated. Mine does smell different to what it did before but it's not an offensive smell. I've has to wear panty liners since I got my BFP otherwise I'd have to change my pants through the day!

Rups If the smell is unpleasant, it may be an idea to get the nurse to check it out. I wouldn't have thought it would be something the EPU needs to deal with. Try to make sure that you don't overclean the area - just use water rather than perfumed soaps etc, and don't be tempted to use those fragranced pads as they can irritate further. You may need to change your pads more frequenty too.
In terms of skin changes, my skin all over my body has got significantly drier, and I have gone from having an oily t-zone to needing to moisturise everywhere.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

It's perfectly normal to be feeling the way you do Rups - I still have days, particularly where I've not slept properly that I feel fed-up and could cry. Hugs to you. x

thank you so much.. i am so glad you all understand. DH has been such a star. he is normally so intolerant and inpatient but he has surprised me. bless him. i have made an appointment to see the nurse, and guess what? all fully booked till next Wednesday so i took it. the receptionist reckoned i could also see the GP but i said no, rather the nurse. she said go to the chemist and get those cansiter things, and i said i dont even know what i have!!! they are so stupid at times!! i still havent got any letters..humph.

Rups, quite often the nurse won't recommend anything for pregnant women anyway - you might be better off seeing the GP, particularly if you're not sure what the problem is and they can see you sooner.

Alternatively there's the walk in centre on Altyre Road in Croydon, by the underpass - I've been down there at the weekend before and only had to wait for about an hour to be seen which actually isn't very long in the grand scheme of things, and they're pretty good (and have an onsite pharmacist so you can fill your prescription there).

I feel incredibly fed up and much more sick if I haven't slept properly. It's really not ideal.

ah that is a goodp point. thanks for that. didnt realise they were open at the weekend too. i went there to give a blood sample once. i dont know about seeing the GP. feel a bit weird esp if he checks. they are mainly male there, i know silly iambeing silly about that esp as my scan was carried out by a male. i might ring up at 11 then to see if i can see the gp later on today.. its such a long wait though. sigh...or maybe tomorrow morning, then i can stay ay home as i really dont fancy coming into work.

Thanks sexymouse. i use panty liners too. i know this is a bit graphic, but i have noticed a different 'smell' down there nowadays and was wondering whether should get it checked out, or is it my body changing and due to that the smell has changed. its not pleasant. last night i was like what the hell? if i need to get it checked out, do i head straight to the epu clinic or the GP? with my GP, it takes ages to get a bloody appointment and it would prob be with the nurse right? i am not itchy down there though.. my skin in general is getting very dry though.

My discharge has become a bit pongier, more pungent than anything else. I wouldn't call it offensive. You do get grubbier in pregnancy. More smelly, more dischargey, more sweaty. I don't have any itching or soreness though and I'm absolutely sure it's all normal.

Dry skin is normal too (all over the body), and it can get a bit itchy. I'm religious about putting on moisturiser these days. It's totally sorted the problem.
