Thanks
RWB, you are so brave - I'm sure your little boy is making sure everything's ok this time - he was beautiful.
C xx
Thank youVery kind of everyone to say such nice things, but I really am just doing everything I can to be happy!
Not much use but during my last pregnancy I just gave a sample when I was there. And it didnt have to be FMU...that would have been a bit difficult at 4pm...ha!0 -
New to the thread, so still getting to know everyone....:)
Thanks to those who've posted pictures. It's nice to see what the bean may look like in a few weeks.
Was very strange today to say "I'm pregnant" out loud to someone (when canceling nurse appointment for smear). Can't wait until we're ready/able to tell those we love. When have most of you decided to "announce" your pregnancy? I'd thought beforehand about waiting until the second trimester, but now we're thinking maybe about 8 or 9 weeks, if I can get an early scan.

we have a baby :j and he/she is coming earlier than we thought so I've jumped from 12+1 to 14+6  odd with our timings but hey it means i leap up the list a bit x
will post scan pic once broadband stops playing silly b*g*s playing up - it won't allow links from flickr at the moment (keeps saying server is down aaargh) so if this link doesn't work I'll try again a bit later

i_wanna_save_money! wrote: »Morning all! I have been a lurker on this thread for around 6 weeks, and am currently 12 weeks 1 day pregnant with my third child. I am after a bit of reassurance really...since Thursday night I had some brown, then light pink discharge, and last night about 8pm it turned to bright red blood when I wiped after a wee (sorry if TMI), not loads but enough to scare me. About 10:30, I went to the loo again and this time as well as a small amount of blood when wiping, there was a blood clot about the size of half of a 5p coin
This is what has worried me the most.
I don't know how, but I managed to get a good nights sleep and this morning I was scared to go to the toilet and check, but when I wiped it was brown discharge again. I have been googling and have found many forums that say it is common to have a small bleed but it is the clot that worried me the most. My hospital has an EPU but it is only open Mon-Fri mornings, I don't even have my first scan until next Thursday, and am really worriedHas this happened to anyone else and eeverything has been fine? I am not looking for medical advice, just a bit of reassurance to make me feel better.
Hope everyone else is feeling good this morning x
Just to update, I sadly have had a miscarriage and have been in hospital for a couple of days. I feel absolutely traumatised by what my body has gone through, but am still in total shock over losing our baby and don't think it has properly hit me yet.
I wish everyone on this board a happy and healthy pregnancy. xxx0 -
