Everything you have said is exactly why we want to use the name
If F had lived, I wouldnt be pregnant right now. It was my partner that suggested using Felix as a middle name actually, and I sort of agree with him.
He will always be special and will always link me and my partner so matter what happens between us. I will tell this baby (and any future ones) all about him, and he is always discussed. I will always write birthday/christmas/any other celebration cards from me, my partner, Felix and the dog! (And baby no.2 when s/he arrives).
I am feeling so happy right now!
To be honest she lost the plot after that, slowly, but that was the start.
I think it's important to include Felix in the life of no2, middle name, and Felix having a birthday rememberance etc, but not to go OTT while no2 is young. I think my siblings were scared by it when he was included too much as they didn't understand, and also didn't want to upset mum by not joining in things. She would get very upset, then disappear crying, leaving them very confused. Some of your rememberance may have to be kept between u & OH until no2 can understand better.
This does not mean forgetting him, or not mentioning him,
I hope this makes sense without being hurtful xxx:j - DS - 7

Congratulations on your new pregnancy and I hope everything goes well for you.
I completely agree here
you are not rambling at all, Felix is and always will be a part of your life and I for one a honoured that you feel you can talk about him to us.

Huge congrats Debs, so so glad that everything went well xx
RWB thanks for showing us your lovely pictures of Felix. Absolutely gorgeous xx
I still haven't heard from my midwife despite leaving messages & sending her 2 texts. I know I'm being impatient but I'm just so anxious to check that all is well this time.
Loumac, forgive my memory but have you had your booking in appointment yet? I'm 9 weeks tomorrow too xx0 -

Not at all, I totally agree with everything you said. My neice is 7, and my brother was adamant he didnt want her to see any pictures of F because she would find it upsetting. I totally understand that, a 7 year old only see's a dead baby...not that it was someone child.
Hopefully when she (and no.2) are older, I will be able to show them and they will understand.

Had initial appointment 2 weeks ago, she came to me on the Sunday. She did family medical history and that was about it. Have scan booked for 25th March and then next midwife appointment on 5th April.
Hope that helps!
I know though my friend who's currently 21 weeks had her appointment at 10 weeks and had blood tests etc so everything seems different.Wandered away from the MSE track for a while but am back and on a mission! Debts cleared nearly £18k. Now to start saving ...0 -

Does anyone know if the urine sample you take to the scan needs to be FMU or just anytime?
Thanks
RWB, you are so brave - I'm sure your little boy is making sure everything's ok this time - he was beautiful.
