no.. I HAVE 9 .. 3 boys and 6 girls..
and I'd have to have some new bits too..
Are you on no. 10 then?
I want to use Felix's stuff, well, because siblings share things. If he had lived, future children would have used them and i know F would want his little brother/sister to.
Looking forward to having better care this time around. EDD is exactly the same as it was last time :S and if everything goes to plan il deliver at 36 weeks...so birthdate could be the same too. Maybe have to change that.
App's with my consultant start on May 4th. The countdown begins!0 -
I'd want a different day too.. Felix's birthday is his and this baby should have its own definitely. Of course you should use his things, it is only proper. When is your due date? 2 of mine were due new years eve
I am still denying all knowledge of number 10 lol... my youngest is just 7 months old and I can't face the thought of a 13 month gap.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
i_wanna_save_money! wrote: »Morning all! I have been a lurker on this thread for around 6 weeks, and am currently 12 weeks 1 day pregnant with my third child. I am after a bit of reassurance really...since Thursday night I had some brown, then light pink discharge, and last night about 8pm it turned to bright red blood when I wiped after a wee (sorry if TMI), not loads but enough to scare me. About 10:30, I went to the loo again and this time as well as a small amount of blood when wiping, there was a blood clot about the size of half of a 5p coin
This is what has worried me the most.
I don't know how, but I managed to get a good nights sleep and this morning I was scared to go to the toilet and check, but when I wiped it was brown discharge again. I have been googling and have found many forums that say it is common to have a small bleed but it is the clot that worried me the most. My hospital has an EPU but it is only open Mon-Fri mornings, I don't even have my first scan until next Thursday, and am really worriedHas this happened to anyone else and eeverything has been fine? I am not looking for medical advice, just a bit of reassurance to make me feel better.
Hope everyone else is feeling good this morning x
I had some brown spotting at 11 weeks (well, I thought it was 11 weeks but at my 12 week scan they moved me forward a week, so was actually 12 weeks I had the spotting). I think I remember slight cramping. Also had some bright red blood. Had an emergency scan, and bubs was fine, and no explanation for bleeding. I am now 31 weeks.
Hope you have the same outcome x0 -
Ive worked out my EDD to be 10th November. Period started 3 days later than last year, but cycles have been consistently 25 days since giving birth to F (were 28 days).
Of course, things could change but Im fairly sure I know when I OV'ed. I don't really care either way, I won't be delivering on 14th October - like you say, thats F's birthday and this baby should be different. I would like it to be after so I can visit F on his b'day. I know I will be in hospital for several weeks after the birth (or atleats thats what I was told) so i would be really upset if I can't go to his grave.
It just seems like such a long hard road I have to go down again. Ive already waited a year, and now I have to wait another 9 months (well, 7 now). I wish I had more patience.
I just made a list of all the big things happening this year. My goddaughters birth, my marriage, a holiday, and this baby. I am trying to focus on the next thing on the list - im hoping it will make time go faster!
Edit: Ha! Denying all knowledge - i love it!0 -
I'd go for after Felix's birthday for that reason too.. My friend has a beautiful angel daughter and she releases balloons on her birthday with her boys.. one balloon for each year with messages attached. They get so much from that. It is important to mark his birthday each year for yourself and OH and for his younger siblings because he is a part of them too. I am sure you will find a fitting tribute. why would you be in for weeks after the birth? There wasn't anything untoward last time was there? I doubt you will be they re glad to see the back of you ASAP.
The road is a bumpy one as well as long and winding.. but you have all of us and we are immensely bossy so you'll be fine!
I don't think we have anything this year to break up the wait.. Exams, SAT's school holidays. all humdrum stuff... with the inevitable decorating mania at about 4 months.. Thankfully it is only the girls room I am intending decorating..though I need to replace guttering and get a wall replastered first.. last year I wanted my bedroom decorating but in order to do that I had to do the kitchen, landing hall and stairs, DD2's room and DD1's room ... When I saw the consultant a few weeks back, he confirmed that there were problems with the placenta, and also problems with F that shold have been picked p. He did say it didnt cause his death, but things may have been different.
I had complications after the birth last time. Lots of stuff with my body went wrong, but that was mainly because I was left after he was born. I didnt see anyone until I went to see my GP. I didnt stop bleeding for 6 weeks and there was issues with my ladybits.
I *may* have a problem with my blood and also my uterus. I was supposed to have a load of testing over the next 3 months but none of that can happen now. The consultant explained I would have to have a lot of preventative treatment through a pregnancy if it occured before this testing (which is has). He actally asked me to stop TTC until about June....but I was already PG! Didnt know it though.
I have to have daily injections of something or other, and take medication too. I can't remember the names of any of it but if i do il post. Maybe someone can tell me more.
I will be having a planned section, and he said I would be in for a week after that. They also want to do some investigative stuff after the section.
He told me all this stuff before we knew I was pregnant and it will depend on how things progress I suppose. I don't care what they have to do as long as I get to take my baby home this time.0 -
Hi RwB, I've read your posts before too and wish you all the best. Lovely to see you here xxx
IWSM, I know of plenty of ladies who've had unexplained bleeds/clots throughout their pregnancies, scary though it is sometimes it just happens. I think the general consensus is that as long as it's not accompanied by painful cramping and it's not too heavy then it's probably nothing to worry about. Might be worth phoning your midwife if you haven't already xx
Hulagirl, glad your scan went well xxx:T0 -
I had a small bleed with DS 1, after a bit of babydancing! Luckily it was the morning of scan (20wks) and they said we'd bumped my wall or something! :rotfl: !:j - DS - 7
