If my periods are 25 days, and my last period was 6th Feb....am I 4+3 atm?

I'm normally really good at all this baby-stuff but having 25 days cycles has really thrown me.

You're 4 weeks. Your EDD is based on the average 28 day cycle :) I was a 28 day girl but when I conceived I'd had a 33 day cycle the month before and a longer one again the month I got my bfp. My midwife said it didn't matter and dated me using a 28 day cycle. It's only guesswork for now so it makes sense they use 28 days.

    Good afternoon everyone.
Hope you are all enjoying your weekend. Well after my scan yesterday and all being well. I was just begining to relax and now i have had some spotting trying not to freak out. It's bright red and only when i wipe after the toilet sorry if thats tmi. So i have taken myself off to bed as i am on my own today and trying not to think about it. Easier said than done.

Hi all, I'm hoping you can offer some advice on when to see the GP/midwife for a first visit. I'm just 4 weeks today (some calculators would say 5, but I have a long cycle/ovulate late in it), and was perusing the NHS site today. One part says to visit GP right away, but another says to wait until 8-12 weeks (though I think maybe this is for a midwife appt?)

I am supposed to go for a cervical smear this week and some fertility-related blood tests, so I will be calling to cancel those tomorrow. I paln to ask reception about PG appointment, but would love to hear your stories as well.

I'm particularly anxious to see if I can have a scan at 7-8 weeks, looking for heartbeat, etc. I think I may explode if I have to wait until 12 weeks! :D

<<trying to refrain from running around the house saying "oh my god, oh my god" :p Three years of trying makes a nervous mommy and daddy.

Have a nice rest & distract yourself! I've mentally been loads better today as lots on at work, not rest for the body I know, but rest for the mind!

What I've seen on this thread & TTC, there is never tmi!! Ladies conceiving love the details!!!

No more brown for me after 7am wipe! Even after strain on no2 (Ha, that must be pushing towards tmi!!)

Staying positive now as driving myself mental!

On a not so positive note, if you haven't told close family yet, wud u tell after mc? I'm waiting to tell face2face, but is it right or wrong to leave your mother out of something like that? I was there for my mum through MCs, (I was 9/10) Is it a burden, or share of life?

    Hi All.
A newbie to this thread today!! After 8 months of trying, got a BFP today:)
Currently feeling excited, scared, panicing, worried, calm, relived, stressed and any other emotion you can think of! Trying not to get too excited though as I have PCOS and the stats for miscarrage are not good. :(

Anyway, My last period was 24th Jan but my cycle is anywhere from 31 - 42 days (With the occasional 60 day thrown in). Does that make me about 5 weeks if I've done my maths right?

Hi I went as soon as I found out I was pregnant (at around 5 weeks) as I was on anti-depressants and needed to check whether I would be ok to just stop taking them. I think most people tend to wait a couple of weeks longer before they go.

Also with regards to getting a scan at 7/8 weeks, I know in the area I live unless you have had any previous problems you wont get an early scan unless you pay for a private one.

Things do vary so much in each area though.

Oh and finally - congrats :D

my mother had lots of m/c's so is as numb as I am.. she doesn't need to know she isn't interested as they are so 'normal' they are not noteworthy..

My oldest 2 children know about 1 of my m/c's and that 2 of them started as a twin.

Jen.. congratulations!!! I bet you are ecstatic.. my sis was ttc 4.5 years so I feel your joy!! re. gp.. most don't require you to go at all.. ring the surgery and ask what the usual procedure is.. ours give you te number to make an appt with the midwife. i usually ring at about 6/7 weeks and booking is about 10 week and scan at 12ish

I like that I know I will be delivering 4 weeks early, 1 less month makes it seem so much closer :D

Went up to fee Felix today and tell him about his little brother/sister. His plot looks really nice. We can collect his headstone in a few weeks. Well, just over a week actually. The sunshine made it feel nice being there. We took the dog so had the whole family all in one place. Shame il only ever be able to do that in a cemetary.

The blood 'r' key on my keyboard isnt working so im having to hammer it everytime I want to type an 'r'!

I can't believe its been 5 months since he died. Time seems to be going reallllllly sllloooowly now I know Im pregnant again....but I remembe giving birth to him like it was yesterday.

Boo for using 28 day cycles for calculations. I guess it just means I will get put forward a few days at the 12 week scan 'coz of when I ovulated. Not that the EDD is going to make any difference to when this baby is born!

Hope everyone else is feeling okay :)

Msm thank you- i have been in bed for a couple of hours feel ok have not been to the loo again though. Glad you are feeling ok and being positive.
I am jen- i know how you are feeling, i was trying with my ex/h for 3 years and had fertility treatment and nothing worked yet here i amnearly 8 weeks pregnant after not even trying with my new partner. I had a private scan yesterday and all ok, i couldnt wait for nhs one. This pregnancy feels very fragile to me after everything i have been through but i am trying to keep calm (and failing sometimes) lol
Fibabe. Congrats on your bfp, there is lots of support on here.
