IWSM.. the clot is just where the blood has pooled inside.. i'd not worry unless there is more tbh.. I usually have a heavy bleed with mine and they all seem ok... def. loud enough. given your scan is thursday it is likely the doc would say wait until then anyway.. it's going to be a long week for you.

It is probably just the placenta working at 100% to keep baby growing.. you can always nip to A&E should it get nasty or painful.

With my m/c's I had dark red bleeding when they've been ok it as been bright red.

I don't need to know the answer to this but if you've had sex recently it could be cervical bleeding from that.

  • Thanks Pigpen, it is going to be a long week, what is upsetting me as well is if the worst does happen how to tell my girls because every day they kiss my tummy and tell the baby they love it. They are looking forward to the scan because I have told them once I have the scan they are allowed to tell their friends and show them the scan pic. Thanks for the comments, hopefully all will be well with my little one x

  • I actually find it quite amusing you haven't told your OH yet! I had to tell my girls as I was constantly being sick and winced when they cuddled me cos my boobs were so sore, I didn't want them to worry thinking I was ill.

Iwsm. I think pig pen sounds right and she knows soooo much more than me about pregnancy. I am sure everything is fine. X

well i had my scan today, only one baby which is a relief my doctor was wrong about how far along i was. I am 7 weeks 2 day and due on 20/10. We heard the heartbeat, very strong and fingers crossed everything is going well. Am starting to get excited and a bit more relaxed.
Hope everyone is having a good weekend
    xx

    Hi all,

I am braving this thread although I may pop in and out so please dont be offended if i disappear for several weeks/months.

Ive posted pretty much my life story (for the last 12 months anyway) on various MSE forums and im really trying to be positive about the future so I wont dwell.

Still very early stages and I know things go wrong, but I know I cant get hung up on that. What will be will be.

Hope everyone is feeling okay today :)

Twitter on, Im very good at that. OH-to-be shouted at me earlier, I bought a new travel system :D

I want to use 99% of the stuff we had for Felix (Im a bit gutted that I cant spend the next 7 months buying baby things!) but the travel system we had couldnt be attached to a base for the car. So....figured it was a legitimate spend? I work bloody hard for my money, so i will fritter if i see fit!

I used to use MSE under another name though I have no idea what it was! Ha. Pigpen...am I right in thinking you're on no.9?! Good effort!
