  • Had my midwife app today. Lots of paperwork, blood test, wee test (i missed the pot duh!) and details of scan. I'm being offered a nucal scan between 11-13 weeks, last time I think I had that at 20 weeks. Also being referred to a consultant due to c-section & oversized baby first time around. Found this really reassuring as we get to discuss birth options in detail and see I I'll have to be booked in for c-section or try naturally. Nice to feel important as first pregnancy I was made to feel like a hassle! Thats probably why I had problems with the first birth!
Counting down the days (got to wait for appointment through post!)

Settlers windeze.. honestly they are about the bestest things in the word and perfectly safe in pregnancy.. honest.. they are the same ingredients as infacol (dimethicone) which is not absorbed into the blood stream it just makes the little bubbles into big bubbles which can escape.. be warned.. the box says it does it discretely.. it doesn't you burp and fart like a dirty warthog!

XH called me Pumbaa when I used them! :o

Hi girletts, just checking that I haven't missed a post from Debs?

Hope the rest of you are doing well x
  • Morning all! I have been a lurker on this thread for around 6 weeks, and am currently 12 weeks 1 day pregnant with my third child. I am after a bit of reassurance really...since Thursday night I had some brown, then light pink discharge, and last night about 8pm it turned to bright red blood when I wiped after a wee (sorry if TMI), not loads but enough to scare me. About 10:30, I went to the loo again and this time as well as a small amount of blood when wiping, there was a blood clot about the size of half of a 5p coin :( This is what has worried me the most.

I don't know how, but I managed to get a good nights sleep and this morning I was scared to go to the toilet and check, but when I wiped it was brown discharge again. I have been googling and have found many forums that say it is common to have a small bleed but it is the clot that worried me the most. My hospital has an EPU but it is only open Mon-Fri mornings, I don't even have my first scan until next Thursday, and am really worried :( Has this happened to anyone else and eeverything has been fine? I am not looking for medical advice, just a bit of reassurance to make me feel better.

Hope everyone else is feeling good this morning x
