Kitten great news on the scan so happy for you.

My spotting was nothing to worry about just wasn't completely prepared for the OH if that makes sense. I'm struggling with not being able to do number2s it's making feel so heavy and yukky :(

Moneypuddle speak to your mw hunni. I've had dizzy spells and they were just because I was a little anaemic but I've always suffered with them anyway xx
You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

mysk_girl can just mean your pee was more diluted. i did 4 tests and 2 of them were on the same day. one was faint the other a dig was a clear positive lol.

No worries, just a bit concerned as my last 2 pregnancies with strong blue positive from the off - this one seems a bit more wishy washy somehow? Probably reading too much into it to be honest. Anyway, I reckon my due date as 19th November... My eldest is 7th December so I'm going to have 2 pretty close together (both previous kids were 10 days late...)

I'm going to have to tell work soon as I work on construction sites and they get funny about that kind of thing. It'll be a ban on ladder climbing straight away I guess, us silly dizzy pregnant people...

    Morning ladies,

I've got another question for you. I've been suffering really badly from bloating, indigestion and heartburn, and wondered if there is anything that you've tried that works other than buying gaviscon, as after an unpleasant experience of taking some MrT chewable heartburn tablets, I don't think I want to go down that route?

    Welcome to mysk and haras.

SM last time I had really bad heartburn and couldn't take gaviscon without throwing up. In ended up living on spearmint polos which helped me. haven't read anything to say it should help. I may just be odd :D

  • Welcome to Maddie, alamaya, mysk_girl and haras_nosirrah.

Great news on the scan Kitten_Pie.

There was someone else who were having some sort of testing/bloods done yesterda. Sorry I can't remember who it was but I hope all went well for you!

Good luck with scan tomorrow Candy_Cane!

Sexymouse, I'm not sure if this would help but have you tried to take actimel/yakult/or similar and switching from high fibre foods to low fibre (from wholemeal to white bread/pasta/rice)? Like I said, not sure if it'd work in pregnancy but this is what's recommended for people who suffer with IBS and have constipation with bloating.

I've been feeling pretty tired for ages now (and I mean tired all the time all day) so i'm not sure if it's the pregnancy or the cold that's still lingering.... hope you all have a good day!

    Evening ladies :)
Big congrats on the good scan news Kitten Pie :)

Feeling pretty tired, even though I'm sleeping really well and for longer than normal. Also hungry ALL THE TIME! I'm still eating the same amount as normal but I've spread it out so I have something every 90 minutes or so, or I get ravenous and queasy!

Developed a v sore throat today, there's tonsilitus going round at work, really hope I don't catch it :(

DH and I have decided what car we want to get and sorted out a loan, just need to arrange to go and test drive it now. Moved away from the idea of a new car as we've found several that are a year old with low mileage, but with a saving of about £9k! THe one we want to see is an 11 reg, but has only done 2000 miles! :j Can't wait to get the new car, our old one is really on it's last legs. It's developed lots of weird rattles and squeaks in the last few weeks :o Every morning I'm convinced it's not going to start! :rotfl:

I just tried again with an ultra sensitive test, and it came out completely negative. Ho hum. We'll see, but I do feel a bit uneasy about it.

I would wait until the morning to test, in the early days the hormones double ish every 24/48 hours but if you've used a diluted wee it may make the difference between scraping a positive yesterday and showing as negative this evening.

Congrats to kitten pie on your scan :j

Mysk, I was having the same number of negative tests as I was positive that in the end I decided to stop testing. I still have another clear blue which I was too scared to use. (although the clear blues were always positive where the tests with lines were showing negative)

Try again in the morning with less diluted pee.

Hi, 9 week preg lurker here unlurking briefly to say that I had extremely faint lines on the (cheapie) pregnancy tests early on, even 2/3/4 days after my period was due. Agree with others here about testing with the first wee of the morning as that made a difference.

With my DD, the (cheapie) pregnancy tests were really strong straightaway so like you I was worried as well as this time they were faint. I wonder if there is a dodgy batch out there!

The Clearblue conception indicator tests did help to quell my fears - 9 days after my period was due it gave the result 3+ weeks.
