The reason i'm really confused is in Nov, i had my booking appointment at 7 weeks. Its worrying me as if they are waiting to see if it ok this time before they do all my paperwork

Ah, I can understand your worry. It may just be that they are having a busy period at the moment. I have had 2 scans before my booking appointment and I know it was because they were really busy and wanted to spend the time with me knowing that I would be worried rather than rush through it.

    Welcome newbies  congratulations.

Snowy I'm sure it's like kitten says and they are just busy at the moment. I know it's difficult not to read too much into things. I've over analysed everything that's been said at each of my scans so far, looking for clues about whether or not they think this pregnancy will last. It's daft because I know if they spotted something worrying/wrong they'd say but I can't help myself :o

    Hope everyone else is well

    xx

  • I met my midwife for the first time on Monday when she took my blood etc

My next appointment with her is on 28th march - she said this would be my Booking In appointment. However at that point I will be 11 weeks and 6 days. At my last appointment I filled in various paperwork including signing for the fact I wanted the downs syndrome test at the same time as my 12 week scan. But I was so nervous about having a needle that I don't thinking listened properly to something - am I now waiting for my 12 week scan appointment to come to me in the post from the hospital? Or do I need to be doing something to book it myself?!

Hoping one of you wiser ladies can help me :D
