I asked her why and she said that she no longer feels that her breasts are sore (which she knows might come and go) and that they also feel normal to the touch I.e. No longer dense/heavy/full. Those symptoms and hunger were the only pregnancy symptoms she was getting - so she is understandably concerned. She is going to phone the midwife. Hope all is ok.
update: not been able to get hold of midwife (only available between 9 and 10am) will have to worry and wait till tomorrow now.
I got a distinct dip in my symptoms, strangely around the 9 week mark too. Having been vomiting every day previously with various other symptoms, I suddenly woke up one day feeling great.
It didn't last beyond a few days though! I was back to feeling terrible two or three days later! I'm sure your wife is fine; symptoms do come and go. Problem is... we can't help worrying. TBH, if she didn't worry about this, it would be something else"Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -
Sarara, so sorry to hear your sad news.
Kitten pie, glad your scan went well, sounds like they are doing everything they can to help you and put your mind at rest which is good.
Mr parsnip, I didn't really have any symptoms alot of the time and what little ones I did have came and went so like the others said its quite normal....still worrying though i know!0 -
mr P, I second what SM says, you are both clearly worried which isn't doing anyone any good. Ring your GP for advice if you don't have the midwives number or can't get through until tomorrow. They will advise you or at least give you a number. Alternatively give NHS direct a ring they should also have your local numbers.Overdraft = £1000 Emergency fund = £2500

Sa-ra-ra - I am so sorry about your sad news. Keep rested and take good care of yourself. Don't feel at all bad about having time off work etc, you need it. I had 4 weeks off last time.
I had my Gp appointment today, she was lovely and has referred me for an early scan, probably around 7 weeks, which is only a week and a half away. I just have to wait for the letter to tell me when.
Only rubbish thing is that DH won't be able to come with me as he's working, so it'll be a bit nerve wracking.
I can't help but want to keep testing, especially as I have no symptoms still!!!

Sa-ra-ra - I'm so sorry to see your sad news...best wishes to you and your OH.
Kitten - glad to see your scan went well. It's nice that they're being so supportive with letting you have extra scans. Hope everything stays positive for you.
T-Sil - I know what you mean, I must have done about a squillion tests, although I haven't for a while as I realised it really wasn't helping me to feel any better
I went for my early scan yesterday, and OH was able to come too, which was really nice. Was there ages and ended up having to have internal as well as external scan, as the external only showed a sack. Internal was a weird feeling, but so worth it as we got to see a tiny little heart beat! The tiny size (4mm) puts me back about a week they said (which was expected), but the midwife did say she still has a small tinge of concern as the scan also showed a tiny bit of what they think is blood, just under the sack, so they want me to go for another scan in two weeks. They said it's probably the remains of implantation bleeding, but they want to keep an eye on it  Feel like I'm back at the beginning, not knowing what to think, and whether to let ourselves be excited
Hope everyone else is doing well.0 -

Back from the hospital and there is a gummy bear with a little heart beat. They have put be back a week which was expected and I will be scanned every 4 weeks and as many times as I want around the 31 week mark and if I have any worries they said I can come in at any time. They have been really good so far.
Gummy bear did look a little lonesome in there but that is to be expected. Was hoping that once I saw it I would feel more relaxed but if anything I am more tense, did burst into tears in the room too.
Great news KittenI completely understand what you mean about feeling more tense now you've seen LO.
Fingers crossed its just left over implantation bleeding snowbean

Anyone else get the feeling like they are going to get diawoo woo, but then don't actually have diawoo woo? I keep getting it and it's most unpleasant.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

I've had that twinklie, and have actually had the runs a couple of times - in the beginning, I was really constipated, but now have bouts of both - I do have IBS though, and I think the pregnancy hormones have triggered an attack.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170
