  • Morning :)
I'm pleased to say I am still at home and have escaped the hospital by a whisker. It was really random how it happened but OH gave DD a little beaker of banana milkshake as a treat, and she was sat next to me drinking it watching TV and I could smell it. And the whole time I was thinking OMG I WANT!
So I tried a few mls and it was the best thing I've had in a good week, no sickness nothing! So OH popped out and nabbed a bottle from Asda and over night I have drunk a full litre of it. And dont I feel the difference!!!! The flashy eyes and the headache is gone, don't feel quite so weak and watery either!
I have some more to drink today if I need it, and the doctor said on the phone this morning that if thats what I live on for a few days till I'm better then so be it.
I have been ill this morning, but it was a tiny tiny bit as soon as I woke up which is my regular morning routine, so I'm not dwelling on it. I'm just munching my rich tea biscuit in front of some Jezza but feeling pretty confident.
I will keep you all posted guys, but I think I may have turned a corner.

Happy to hear you have found something that works for you:T:T

Well I had a pretty horrible experience today. I'm in need of some new bra's so thought I'd go to Mothercare World to get fitted for some maternity bra's. The woman who fitted me was useless, she obviously had no idea what she was doing (she thought an F cup was bigger than a G cup). She also told me that I was "podgy" and that I have "a pot". She justified this by saying that it was my baby making me look that way and that she could see the bump already. Stupid woman - I already told her I'm not quite 8 weeks yet. My baby is the size of a blueberry and the "podge and pot" are just fat, not a baby bump! I looked like this before I got pregnant!!! She really upset me and needless to say I left without buying anything. Fancy telling a pregnant woman, or any woman for that matter that she looks podgy! Hmph.
  • Urgh, I was feeling so much better!!!!
So I decided to sit on the sofa with OH and DD for a bit, cause I missed them. That was at 6 and I threw up every 20 minutes untill I got back into bed and laid flat at 9 :(
So I am now on bedrest for a bit, which from a quick google seems to be the answer for a lot of ladies.
I'm just going to try some almost dry toast again before I try and sleep, fingers crossed.

Elelyn you poor thing. Rjh's suggestion is a good one.

    How are you doing fishcake?

Congrats on graduating to the next thread Gemma

I'm so tired today. I have developed a habit of falling asleep really early in the evening then I get woken up in the middle of the night, usually by DH coming to bed and am then awake for ages after. Last night I fell asleep about 8:45 then was awoken about 2:15am when DH came to bed. I was then awake until gone 4am and then woke up at 7 so I'm shattered again now. I have to clean the bathroom, vacuum the house and tidy the washing away today. I don't see much of this been done :(

Emsbet I'm exactly the same. Gt woken up by my bladder or outside noise and I awake for two hours normally with the restless legs kicking in. Hate it. Every single night
love you lots like jelly tots :o
