  • I'd think about going anyway Fishcake, if that is the most you've had all week just so they can check you all over!

Anyone 9/10 weeks? I just had a phone call from my lovely boss who just said some straightforward things about stuff I'd forgotten and telling me to be more confident teaching tomorrow so the kids don't realise im nervous and that was it. As soon as she was off the phone, I was crying again!! What is wrong with me? That's twice in one day and though I well up quite easily this is the first time. I think I'm 10 weeks tomorrow and dunno how on earth I'm going to cope teaching. eep! Need to sleep for 12 days til the scan and then it'll be fine!

Hi fishcake hon. i had a few days of can't keep anything down during my pg. Don't know if you have tried,, but ice lollies (calypos in particular) worked wonders on those occasions. Were total saviour. The coldness seemed very soothing and the sweetness give me a bit of energy.
    hth, good luck

I appear to have stopped being sick during day and only after I eat at night. Not happy. Have a head cold today ad sneezin like a maniac and I'm not sleeping well. Terrible restless legs. I just want some energy is that too much to ask?

Made my news public today on thefcebook and seems to be well received. Was a bit worried cos a few people weren't too pleased when me and other half got togethe but I'm over the moon so all good!!!!
love you lots like jelly tots :o
  • Aw glad people have received f@book well. Not sure when and if I will do that whole f'book thing but only purely because I need to clear some people out!

Sneezing and coughing lots for me past couple of days, ick.

One of the lovely ttc ladies noticed that there is a great deal on 6 months supply for pregnacare http://www.lloydspharmacy.com/en/pregnacare-6-month-pack-158618

I just ordered mine, persuaded to by the fact it can be used again if I am making this all up! I was really worried about the cost as had been getting combined with omega 3 but the omega 3 made me feel so sick so will just eat salmon and take cheaper tablets but 12.99 is a bargain, so helpful!!

    Evening all,

It seems that there are a fair few of you suffering for one reason or another at the moment so big hugs for anyone that needs one.

Fishcake it sounds like you are really suffering, you poor thing. I still have nausea pretty much constantly but at least I haven't been sick and am still managing to eat and drink. I hope you can get some treatment and start feeling better soon.

Emsbet don't worry about bringing the mood down - you don't at all. I love the fact that on this forum people are able to post about their feelings and experiences whether they are going though good times or bad. And I have to say that your philosophy to not worry because worry won't change anything is spot on. I am going to bear this in mind whenever I find myself having a wobble (because we all do from time to time don't we?).

I had a lovely day off work today. Went shopping with my mom and ended up buying a maternity dress to wear to my brother's wedding which is two weeks before my due date! I know it's stupidly early to be buying such an item but I happened across this dress (well, it was the first thing I saw when I walked into Debenhams) in the sale and it was so beautiful and such a bargain (£19!) that I decided to buy it.

I'm going to get fitted for some maternity bra's tomorrow. I'm bursting out of my normal ones and they're getting really uncomfortable. I absolutely hate bra shopping at the best of times but it's got to be done. I hope I can get something decent.

Going to have a nice relaxing evening in front of the telly now. I've been looking forward to the Celebrity Big Brother final - sad aren't I?

When I was pregnant last time I had this thing when I'd start giggling at nothing and it would always turn into me crying! It was so odd.

A couple of weeks ago I was watching the hotel and I burst into tears because there was a man on there who's wife of 40 years had recently died and all I could think of was how dreadful it would be and my DH said "I can tell you're pregnant again, crying at the tv" :o

I have been getting weepy again, not necessarily at sad things either. If something is happy I weep. Its even worse when there is no reason and OH asks what's wrong and with everything going on there is lots of reasons I could be crying so he is all there for the support and I have to say either the andrex puppy is just so cute or I have no idea why... my eyes are just leaking :p

Thanks for the kind words guys, Twinklie- we have been there before, the most frustrting thing is he just decides he doesn't need tablets anymore and is better rather than discussing it with his doctor. I know its his decision to get/ not get help but it's not just him anymore, there's DD, bump and me who need him.
    Mishka-
at the mo once a week if he's lucky as have been feeling quite poorly, which I think probably isn't helping, I have asked him tho and he said it's fine, but taking him out for a meal tonight so hopefully that will help.
Sexymouse- thanks, great ideas, hopefully going out tonight will help,
Fishcake- hope you are feeling better and managing to eat a bit more now.

On the emotional front, I cry at pretty much anything now, OBEM has me weeping, and just thinking about sad stuff seems to set me off too.

Cold has mostly cleared, but have infected DD so having lots of cuddles, calpol and cartoons until DH gets up as he is taking her out for the day today.

Hope everyone else has a nice weekend, I will be moving on over the weekend, technically should go today, but will still dip in and out
