Emsbet, I know what you mean. My default mental setting seems to be 'when it all goes wrong...'. I told work yesterday, because I needed a car parking space as busses are making me ill, and my thought was 'well... even if I don't make it to 12 weeks, they'll find out because I'll be signed off by the doctor. And if I do they'll find out then... so I might as well tell them now'.
My sickness seems to be getting better. Which is worrying. I was so ill earlier this week, and yesterday I woke up feeling amazing! Today I'm feeling a bit ill again, but I'm still worried. Ugh. This is all so stressful!

Well I took the digi test this morning (wanted to wait a week after the poundland one to check it was accurate), and got the Pregnant 3+ so I'm pleased that the hormone levels have obviously increased in line with how far along I thought I was - by my calculations, I'm 5 weeks +1.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170

Morning all,
I'm really struggling at the moment, the past 2 days I have barely kept anything down. A few sips of water every 2 hours is about my limit really, although yesterday I managed to keep a rich tea biscuit down. My lips are so sore and dry, my mouth is completely rank, pounding headache and ache everywhere. I know its because I'm dehydrated but I can't seem to get anything in.[]
If im still poorly this evening I've been told to phone NHS direct and prepare to be taking in to hospital for a drip
Anyone had this before?

Fishcake my friend had really bad morning sickness throughout both her pregnancies - she had to be put on a drip on more than one occasion as the antisickness tablets she'd been prescribed didn't seem to work. Has your GP prescribed you anything for the sickness?Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170

Fishcake. Don't worry yourself Hun, it's not good for you or baby xxx
I ended up in hospital with dehydration 2.5 weeks ago. Ive had problems with intense nausea and sickness this pregnancy, especially sickness up to 12 weeks, but nausea all the way through.
I ended up fainting, but had dizziness and aches a few days before, and was taken in. I had a cannula put in, and then 4 litres of Hartmanns solution given to me overnight.
I must admit, I felt so much better the day after. I would definitely say I needed it, and I'm fine now.
They know what they're doing.

Doctor has given me anything but I wouldnt be able to see her till monday at the earliest. I doubt I would be in any state to get there is this lasts the weekend
I sent an SOS message to OH who is taking DD off me in a minute for the day so I can concentrate on trying to drink plenty and keep it down.
I'm glad I am not the only one who has suffered from this, which makes me feel a bit better. If I am off to hospital then so be it, the bump matters 100 times more than I do!!! I have this horrible image in my head of a foetus in my tummy in a tiny puddle of water struggling to breathe. Kind of like a fish in a puddle.

Is there any chance you would be able to get a home visit fishcake? When Moon and I were first dating, I didn't drive, and he had a terrible stomach flu - they came over and gave him some antisickness medication. Do you have any ginger tea?Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170

mishkanorman wrote: »Thanks emsbet, The doctor started off by saying "lets get you referred straight away" when I then explained we had 2 healthy children he then went through all my notes and there is a letter from the consultant that says he will see me at 12 weeks (in any subsequent pregnancy) and the chance of it happening again is less than 1%
The doctor then said it was just one of those things and we had a 1 in 100  chance of it happening again, Im hoping he has got his figures wrong on this bit as that doesnt seem like great odds to me
It is tough isn't it. I think that the way you need to look at it is that you have a 99% chance of it not happening again.
I have a slightly higher risk of mc this time because I had two in a row but it's not that much more (I think 28% instead of 25% if you've had no or one mc) so I guess the odds are still in our favour that it will work out and we will have our forever baby.
We were told that when we lost Alex it was only a 5% chance after seeing a heartbeat on scan at 11+ weeks that something would go wrong. We were just unlucky I guess. The only thing that concerns me is if there is some underlying reason for us losing our babies, hopefully there isn't and we just got really unlucky
Sorry for bringing the mood down. If anyone minds me talking about my losses please let me know and I'll stop. I would completely understand

Hi Emsbet,
I personally don't mind you talking about Alex and don't find it brings the mood down. If your anything like me you like talking about Alex and the short time you had together.Overdraft = £1000 Emergency fund = £2500
