    Evening ladies,

I finally got my BFP this morning, so thought I ought to come over and introduce myself. I'm 28 and married to Moon (his nickname - obviously not his real name), and we'd been trying for our first baby for 11 months. I've only done a poundland test so far - I'm going to wait for a week to do the CB test I have, so that I can see how many weeks I am, and I've still got to go to the doctor. I've told a couple of people IRL (one friend and the person I babysit for who is a doctor, as I wanted to ask her a question relating to my pregnancy). I'm feeling excited and also quite nervous.

Yay Sexymouse! Soooooooo pleased for you!

I seem to be almost back to normal since MOnday, have a bit of energy and not felt rough so caught up on washing, cleaning and tidying up, very rock and roll I know.

Looking forward to my scan tomorrow, but really nervous about it too. Just praying that everything is still OK, think I'm just worrying because things didn't go quite to plan with DD and now more worried then I should be.

Just to add, those ladies on here who have suffered losses and come back to TTC, you are truly inspirational and so brave. I'm so please that you have your BFPs and I really hope all goes well this time for you.

    Good night all

Congratulations to all those who have recently found out they are pregnant.

mishkanorman - How have you managed to keep quite, had to tell my OH as soon as I was late and the excitement grew until we did the test.

Laura - what a fab way to tell the parents, we have not mentioned the pregnancy to anyone but want to tell just our parents once we have had the 12 week scan..... now wondering if i should be more inventive that just telling them!

Im not sure, he knew I was due on but the last he heard from me I felt af was going to start any minute and with me working late over the weekend he must have just presumed It came :o

We had such of a hard time of it last time my mini plan is to wait till we are close to scan time then tell him and he wont have weeks to stew about it. That may not be practical though as im a bit of a social drinker and he may suss me before then !

This post made me so excited, I let out a woop! Don't feel so guilty for avoiding essay now. Had a feeling it was your time through my lurks on ttc thread but likewise, am so pleased to see it. I'll look at trying now but if you didn't say, what is moon like? And a september baby! When I finally told my lecturers face to face this week, our sociology professor went, oh dear an end of aug/school year baby - try and hold on!! :rotfl:

hugs to all. pretty crap day at placement to start with but I'm hoping to get some work done tonight and looking forward to a half day tomorrow so I can nap, yay! Good luck Gemma x

Moon is thrilled at the news. He's 46 and was worried "his boys" weren't working so at least he now knows they do. We've been together for nearly 10 years, so always knew we wanted to have children with each other.

Hope the placement improves Gemma, and enjoy your half day. xx

I have lots of aches and pains in my belly tonight. I hope they are good aches. Man, every little thing is so worrying isn't it...
