Don't get me started! This is why I got an extension for this essay as every time I sat at a computer I'd be googling, right side pain, stomach cramping etc etc and especially those batty american sites who get scans really early and then have to say everytime they think their symptoms "diminish". Similar to sa-ra-ra I no longer get stomach pain and rumbly stomach if I eat but I don't think that means I am diminishing... fingers crossed.
Have the antibiotics worked today!
(and sexymouse I meant good luck to Gemma, my name isn't Gemma) xx

Hi darling ladies..
i am so sorry i have been away. i couldnt bear to log on..:(
i saw your lovely messages. thank you so much.. one of the girls from the diet forums is my friend on facebook so i asked her to kindly let the girls know.
as you know it was bad news. the scan showed bubs at around 5 weeks. no heart beat and so concluded a missed miscarriage. i feel devastated and cant cope with it somehow. i cant imagine how some women have come on here and left feeling positive. i am trying but its hard right now.. thanks for your support though. so much. its very touching.
i booked myself surgery on tuesday as i couldnt go through with some other options. so that will be the final bye as it is still inside me. i feel weird and lost.
hubbys been lovely and hope we can try again very soon and i can join you girls again. if you dont mind, i might come and go from here to see how you are doing?
thanks again and hopefully when i come on again, i am more positive, xxx lots of love and good luck to you all. xxBecame Mrs H on the 1st of October 2011!!

Dont feel like you should feel anything at any stage of this, its your grief and you will deal with it in your own time/way its really early days yet, back in september I was fine, october/november was pretty crappy and I realised I had moved on without processing it all fully,

Thanks mishka. i know deep inside that there is light at the end of the tunnel but at the mo, i feel the darkness. i got so excited and now am totally down. i cant face to go to work too and i guess after the surgery, i will recover and go back and start again. funny how men see it and they are so practical and realistic. i know i have to move on but i think i can do it properly from tues. my body hasnt even registered it and is still giving me preg symptoms. so cruel.
but i know one day i can come back and am looking forward to it.. thanks so much for all your support. xx

Bless you Rups. I can totally understand why you aren't feeling positive. I don't think that's something you should worry about...don't put that extra pressure on yourself. Just concentrate on getting through each day, and making you healthy. Keep talking to your DH and make sure you give yourself time to express your grief. Nobody will expect anything from you.
Good luck for Tuesday, I hope it's as simple and straight forward as it can be. My thoughts are with you. xReduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

I think my antibiotics are kicking in...yey. I haven't had any symptoms all week (perhaps I have but it's been masked by my general ickness). But tonight it's kicked in with stomach aches and pains - not constant ones just coming and going. My boobs are really tender again, and I have no idea if the stomach ache is pregnancy or being ill? Oh and I have a bit of backache, but I imagine that's from spending all week sat on my bottom!Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Thanks twinklie.. i have already decided that will start eating well after and look after myself and my mental being.
i need to to stay sane. me and DH are chatting about it and he has said he is upset. I am surprised as he is such a man's man and typical hard exterior. bless these men. they cant express as openly as us but i keep asking him to talk to me too. well tomorrow i have pre-assessment tests at St Thomas's to get ready for Tues. hope it is done quickly now as now i feel weird about things.

((hugs)) Rups
As Mishka said, don't feel pressurised to feel any certain way, grief is a personal thing.
I know how hard the knowledge that you are still carrying your baby can be, I had the same with my last baby. Hopefully on Tuesday you will be able to say goodbye properly and start grieving for your little one. I will be thinking of you on Tuesday. Have the doctors told you to prepare that it may happen before Tuesday? Often when a woman is told she has had a mmc, her body will then realise and start the process by itself.
Don't worry about work, your doctor should sign you off until you are ready to go back.
Be kind to yourself
