Evening ladies,
I finally got my BFP this morning, so thought I ought to come over and introduce myself. I'm 28 and married to Moon (his nickname - obviously not his real name), and we'd been trying for our first baby for 11 months. I've only done a poundland test so far - I'm going to wait for a week to do the CB test I have, so that I can see how many weeks I am, and I've still got to go to the doctor. I've told a couple of people IRL (one friend and the person I babysit for who is a doctor, as I wanted to ask her a question relating to my pregnancy). I'm feeling excited and also quite nervous.

Rups, I just wanted to say how sorry I am for your loss. I can't imagine how hard it must be for you. I don't know you very well but am thinking of you all the same.0

Hi Gemma, great news about your scan! Fish and chips sounds yum, I'm starving at the mo, having just demolished two crumpets, a chocolate brownie and a packet of crisps after delivering a lesson about nutrition - oops!
Got to bed at 2 after submitting my essay in the end and one more thing to submit. I saw your msg Rups, and there's no words I can say. You always cheered me up on this board and I hope that 2012 will bring you and hubby your forever baby.
RJ, eek! Have you ever spoken to them? Are they meeting LO too? Do they already know about pg? next week scan for you, so jealous! Hows partner been?

Fab news Gemma. And I agree fish and chips does sound lovely. I have an emergency appointment at the docs at 3.10. I'm so breathless it's frightening...so thought I'd better not leave it until after the weekend.
I've also started experimenting with clothes a little to hide my little bump (I'm normally really slim naturally so the bloating is really showing), with my mum being round to look after me so much. Not to mention I noticed how MASSIVE my boobs where this morning. WOW.
Can you tell I'm trying to distract myself from the breathing so that I'm not panicking about it.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Oh gosh that breathlessness I've had a good few times! Had it with palpations too. They will tell you its normal and it's just the changes in your body. You will breath faster to get more oxygen into baby. But yes it does make you think something is wrong with you!!Esp when you can't walk up the stairs without feeling like an old granny and needing a sit down to recover. Even standing at the sink to wash up wears you out. I bet your fine. xx0
