Less than 12 weeks pregnant club! 2

My antibiotics do not appear to have kicked in and I'm feeling very miserable. EVERYTHING hurts and I just want to cry. Must man up though...things could be worse. Hope everyone else is happier than me.

Sorry to hear about Rups as well. :-(

Rups, we're here if you want to share with us, hope you get some time off and maybe away for R+R. Twinklie, can they give you extra strength or something?

Went in to see my tutors for the first time since telling about pregnancy over e-mail for an extension. They were both so sweet and supportive, next step is to see what happens at 12 wk scan and tell placement if all good.

Sa-ra-ra I'd missed you so glad you are back on and being fed in bed! My bed has become my best friend, I was so sad to get out of it this morning... hopefully early night tonight though I have said that a lot!!

Sleepy - thats my main preg symptom at the moment, i start to feel seriously tired about 6pm, although had a great sleep last night, needing to go toilet in the night has stopped progress

walked to work today which felt good, definately feeling out of breath more though. when i am swimming i have to take a breather inbetween each length.

having a good week overall, started new job which i love so far and we are telling parents about the pregnancy this sunday (will be 12 weeks), its very exciting.

Just to update. Saw our councillor today to inform her of our pregnancy. Although we are still in denial she did say that after 6 + tests that I was definitely pg and although it will be difficult to try and relax and go with the flow. It is feeling a bit more real now we have told someone in RL. Still not got any symptoms :cool:, felt a bit sick earlier but no more than OH (think there is a bug going round)

We did mention that we were worried about getting too attached and she mentioned that the women who have tried not to get too attached still do they just spend their time trying not to (if that makes sense) so we are going to try and enjoy it all and treat this mini-cub as we treated our bear_cubs.

She has contacted our consultant and the same midwife we had last time. Just need to wait for our midwife to give us a ring to see what to do next. Need to go to the doctors at some point but she said that it is just formality so there is no need to rush. We have decided to just go with the standard scans etc and not to have any additional ones unless medically required.

I hope everyone else is doing well and those who aren't have friends and family around them.
