Where is everyone?!
Rups, how did your scan go yesterday?
I'm feeling a lot better than I did on Monday. I've worked out that if I eat before I even get up (thank you DH bringing me toast in bed!) and then graze all day, I don't feel quite so bad and can actually get some work done.
Emsbet, when's your 6wk scan? That must be soon too?
Hope everyone's well0 -
Sooooo quiet sara. Where did everyone go!!!!love you lots like jelly tots0

Hi everyone
I've only posted a few times on this thread before, but I have been lurking - I think I've been a bit in denial about my pregnancy! I hope everyone's feeling OK today?
Anyway, I had a private scan last week as I've been stressing myself about not having many symptoms, and it went really well ... finally convinced myself that I am actually pregnant, and I heard the heartbeat which was strong at 165 bpm. Only slight issue is that it put my date back by a week - according to my LMP I was over 9 weeks at that point, but it put me back to 8w4d (am now 9w2d.) Does anyone know if that's normal? The MW wasn't at all concerned and I had irregular cycles so maybe I didn't ovulate on day 14, but I'm a worrier at heart so I've been dwelling on it!
Anyway thanks for listening, and hope all is going well for everybody x0 -

It's normal to have your dates recalculated at any scan up until your official dating scan at 12ish weeks (at which point your due date will become fixed). Up until then they're going on the size of the baby and your date can shift up to a week or so either way. So far I've been given 3 different due dates with a week's variation between two of them. And I absolutely know my dates because it was IVF!

I've been mostly lurking as I'm kind of trying not to think about being pg so that I don't get obssessed by symptoms etc.
6 week scan is on Monday, thanks for asking.
Glad you are feeling a bit better now.
Hope it went ok yesterday Rups and you've just been too busy to update us.
